Kesimpulan
Fragmen cDNA MmFSNR yang berhasil diisolasi dari M. malabatrichum L. berukuran 700 pb dan menyandi 232 asam amino. Fragmen MmFSNR ini mengandung beberapa situs enzim restriksi tetapi tidak ditemukan situs pemotongan EcoR1. Analisis kesejajaran lokal berdasarkan nukleotida menggunakan program BLASTN menunjukkan bahwa fragmen MmFSNR mempunyai kemiripan sebesar 65% dengan mRNA dari unknown protein At3g27390 A. thaliana. Hasil analisis kesejajaran berdasarkan urutan asam amino dengan program BLASTP menunjukkan bahwa MmFSNR mempunyai kesamaan 53% dengan protein Uncharacterized membrane protein GN : At3g27390 OS : A.
thaliana (Uniprot : Y3739_ARATH) dan 47% dengan protein SNR dari M. truncantula. Protein SNR merupakan bagian dari kelas reseptor inti (Nuclear receptor/NR) yang dikenal luas sebagai sensor xenobiotik, sehingga MmFSNR
kemungkinan mempunyai peranan dalam detoksifikasi Al di M. malabatrichum.
Saran
Isolasi lebih lanjut terhadap seluruh bagian dari fragmen cDNA MmFSNR akan bermanfaat untuk memahami fungsi dari protein yang disandikan. Analisis ekspresi berdasarkan urutan nukleotida MmFSNR dari M. malabatrichum yang mendapatkan cekaman xenobiotik seperti Al dapat menjelaskan peran SNR pada
