Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari hasil penelitian ini adalah:

1. Ikan T. sarasinorum tersebar luas di daerah litoral yang dangkal dan menjadikan daerah ini sebagai tempat pemijahan dan mencari makanan. Ikan ini memiliki preferensi daerah litoral yang luas, yang memiliki substrat dasar yang terdiri atas pasir, kerikil, dan batuan.

2. Ikan T. sarasinorum memiliki dua tipe habitat pemijahan yaitu arena batu berpasir dan arena perakaran.

3. Ikan yang berada di arena pemijahan adalah ikan yang siap memijah.

4. Ikan betina yang memijah meletakkan telur di antara pasir dan di antara alga atau sponge.

5. Puncak pemijahan terjadi pada akhir musim kemarau pada saat curah hujanmulai meningkat dan muka air danau naik.

6. Peristiwa pemijahan pasangan yang sedang kawin sering diikuti oleh ikan jantan pesaing pembuahan dan jantan tunggal yang tampak memakan sisa- sisa sperma di arena pemijahan.

7. Parameter fisik kimiawi perairan masih berada pada kondisi yang layak untuk kehidupan ikan di habitatnya.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan untuk:

1. Menetapkan lokasi P. Otuno I dan P. Otuno II sebagai daerah perlindungan ikan T. sarasinorum.

2. Mengurangi bahan masukan yang dapat menurunkan kecerahan perairan dan menutupi substrat dasar.

3. Tidak menjadikan danau sebagai tempat budidaya ikan dan organisme akuatik lain yang bukan asli.

4. Upaya konservasi ikan dan arena pemijahannya perlu segera dimulai dengan melibatkan pemerintah, perusahaan, dan masyarakat.

5. Memulai upaya penangkaran ikan yang hasilnya nanti dapat diperjual belikan sehingga kelangsungan hidup ikan di alam tetap terjaga.

Daratan di tepian danau berupa lahan datar dengan sedikit rawa-rawa. Daerah litoral dengan kontur dasar landai dan pinggiran danau tampak mengalami abrasi.

6. Pantai Salonsa I-A 0,30 - 4,00 m pasir 30%,

kerikil 20%, batu bulat 40%, batu besar 10%. Otellia mesenterium Kjellbergiodendron, Xanthostemon, dan Eugenia.

Wilayah Pantai Salonsa merupakan daerah permukiman PT INCO (di bagian selatan danau), lokasi rekreasi pantai.

8. Pantai Salonsa I-B 0,30 - 4,00 m pasir 30%,

kerikil 40%, batu bulat 30%. Otellia mesenterium Kjellbergiodendron, Xanthostemon, dan Eugenia.

Wilayah Pantai Salonsa merupakan daerah permukiman PT INCO (di bagian selatan danau), lokasi rekreasi pantai.

9. Pantai Old Camp 0,30 – 5,00 m pasir 30%,

kerikil 55%, batu bulat 15%.

Muara sungai ini mempunyai kandungan lumpur yang tinggi. Sebelah kiri dan kanan sungai adalah daerah rawa-rawa. Lahan dekat tebing bekas kebun merica.

- Myrtacea Sisi selatan sebelah barat hingga ke sebelah timur terdiri dari dinding batu-batu besar. Kontur dasar sebelah barat daya searah jarum jam hingga ke sebelah timur adalah daerah curam. 15. S. Petea 0,40 – 2,5 m lumpur/pasir 50%, kerikill 30%, batuan dasar 20%. - Pandanus sp., Myrtacea
