3.2 Pertumbuhan Ekonomi/ Economic Growth
Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan salah satu indikator makro untuk melihat kinerja perekonomian secara riil di suatu wilayah. Perekonomian Lampung pada tahun 2015 mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan dengan tahun 2014. Berbeda dengan pertumbuhan nasional yang mengalami perlambatan, dimana PDB nasional tahun 2015 hanya tumbuh 4,79 persen dari 5,02 persen di tahun 2014. Laju pertumbuhan PDRB Lampung tahun 2014 mencapai 5,08 persen, sedangkan tahun 2015 tumbuh sebesar 5,13 persen.
3.2 Economic Growth
Economic growth is one indicator of the macro economic to see real economic performance in the region. Lampung's economy in 2015 increased compared to 2014. In contrast the national growth experience a slowdown, where the national GDP in 2015 grew only 4,79 percent from 5,02 percent in 2014. The GDP growth rate in 2014 reached 5,08 Lampung percent, whereas in 2015 grew by 5,13 percent.

Dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir, pertumbuhan ekonomi Lampung cenderung
menurun walaupun nilainya lebih tinggi
dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Pada tahun 2011 terlihat bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi Lampung mencapai 6,56 persen, hingga pada titik terendah pada tahun 2014 Lampung tumbuh melambat menjadi 5,08 persen. Pada tahun 2015 terjadi peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi meskipun tidak terlalu signifikan yaitu menjadi 5,13 persen.

In 2011 it appears that the economic growth Lampung reached 6,56 percent, to the lowest point in 2014 Lampung slowed to 5,08 percent. Penyebab meningkatnya pertumbuhan
Lampung tahun 2015 adalah meningkatnya produksi hasil industri pengolahan dimana adanya pabrik dan unit pengepakan baru menjadi salah satu pendorongnya. Peningkatan dalam bidang transportasi, baik angkutan rel
maupun angkutan laut juga mampu
meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi Lampung. Selain itu, pengembangan internet di pulau
Sumatera memberikan dampak pada
pertumbuhan kategori Informasi dan
Telekomunikasi di Lampung.
The cause of the increasing growth of Lampung in 2015 is the increased production of the manufacturing industry where their factories and new packing unit into one of the pusher. Improvements in the field of transport, both rail freight and ocean freight are also able to boost economic growth Lampung. In addition, the development of the Internet on the island of Sumatra have an impact on the growth of Information and Telecommunications categories in Lampung.
Pertumbuhan ekonomi tertinggi pada tahun 2015 dicapai oleh lapangan usaha Transportasi dan Pergudangan yaitu sebesar 11,67 persen. Hal ini disebabkan oleh telah diresmikan pengoperasian Dermaga VI dan beberapa Kapal Motor Penumpang (KMP) sebagai armada angkutan Merak-Bakauheni oleh presiden. Selain itu telah diresmikan pula
ship loader anthracite yang nantinya digunakan sebagai mesin pengangkut batu bara ke kapal angkut di PT Bukit Asam (BA) Tarahan. Pengiriman melalui PT. Pos (meningkat hingga 120 persen) dan JNE (meningkat hingga 30
persen) juga menyebabkan pertumbuhan
kategori Transportasi tinggi.
The highest economic growth in 2015 is achieved by Transportation and Warehousing business field that is equal to 11,67 percent. This is caused by the operation of Pier VI has been inaugurated and several Motor Vessel Passenger (KMP) as a transport fleet of Merak- Bakauheni by the president. In addition it has also unveiled anthracite ship loader that will be used as a carrier machine transports the coal to PT Bukit Asam (BA) EVAL. Delivery by PT. Pos (increased to 120 percent) and JNE (up to 30 percent) also led to the growth of high transport category.
Sedangkan pertumbuhan terendah terjadi pada kategori Perdagangan Besar dan Eceran yaitu hanya mencapai 1,98 persen. Turunnya volume penjualan mobil hingga mencapai 26
persen dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya
menjadi penyebab utama melambatnya
pertumbuhan sektor Perdagangan Mobil,
Sepeda Motor dan reparasinya menjadi minus 7 persen. (Lampiran 6)
