2. Jumlah nelayan kecil yang cukup besar membutuhkan alternatif sebagai solusi dalam mengurangi laju eksploitasi yang mengarah pada over fishing

dan kerusakan habitat ikan seperti padang lamun dan ekosistem lainnya. Alternatif yang memungkinkan saat ini adalah pengembangan zona perikanan ramah lingkungan sesuai dengan potensi sumberdaya laut di lokasi studi. 3. Pengelolaan perikanan yang berkelanjutan dari aspek kelembagaan sudah

cukup memadai namun perlu dioptimalkan dalam koordinasi dan kolaborasi antar stakehoulder dan pendidikan serta pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumberdaya manusia sebagai pengelola.

4. Kebijakan pengelolaan perikanan secara partisipatif dapat lebih ditingkatkan dengan mengotimalkan pelaksanaan awiq-awiq dan peraturan daerah.
