tralia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present P a r l i a ~ ment assembled, as follows :

1,

Out of the General Revenue of the said province there shall Issue and application

be issued a n d applied, from time to time, for the service of the ^of^$400,000, year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred

and ninetylsix, any sums of money not exceeding i n the whole the sum of Four Hundred Thousand Pounds.

2.

No payments for any establidlment or service shall be made ^Papmente^not^to out of the said sum in excess of the rates voted for similar

establishments or services on the Estimates for the year ended the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, except so far as such rates are affected by the Civil Service Act, 1874."
