Recommendation:

“That the Golden Bay Community Board writes to Barry Cashman congratulating him on his

recent Outstanding Community Service award from Tasman District Council.”

5.1.2 Collingwood Streetscaping (See Chair’s Report Page 5)

Recommendation:

“That the Golden Bay Community Board does not pursue the current streetscaping plans but recommends the money be left in the long term plan and looks at consulting the

Collingwood community closer to when the budgeted money is available.”

5.1.3 Heritage Information Panel for Salisbury Bridge (See Chair’s Report Page 5) Recommendation:

“That the Golden Bay Community Board supports efforts to obtain funding for additional panels to tell the final history of this popular bridge. Other funding sources to be

investigated eg Grants from Rates.”

5.1.4 Motupipi School Safety Sign – (See Chair’s Report Page 9)

Recommendation:

“THAT the Golden Bay Community Board writes to Tasman District Council to ask that the legal speed limit past the Motupipi School be reduced and the flashing sign reset to a safer speed.”
