Minutes of the Board meeting held at the North Hobart Bowls Club on Sunday 26 May 2019 commencing at 2.55 pm
Present: Peter Kirby (President), Pat Zapotocky (Deputy President), Ross Bannister, Ken Coppleman, Tony Fulton, Ailsa Milburn, Malcolm Salier, Lyn Triffitt and Rob McGuire.

General Business:
Committee and Other Appointments 2019-20:
Match Committee
It was resolved that Ross Bannister be appointed as Chair of the BTS Match Committee for 2019- 20. It was agreed that the Secretary would approach Clubs to seek expressions of interest in filling the other three vacancies on the Committee.
Statistician:
It was resolved that Paul Hoddy be appointed as BTS Statistician for 2019-20.
Publicity Officer:
It was resolved that Rob McGuire be appointed as Publicity Officer for 2019-20.
Finance Committee:
It was resolved to appoint Peter Kirby, Pat Zapotocky, Tony Fulton and Rob McGuire to this Committee.
Selection Committees, Coaches and Managers:
The following appointments have been made by Bowls Tasmania (and are automatically on BTS Selection Committees):
Mick Sweeney – Southern Open Men’s Selector
Rosie Geeves - Southern Open Women’s Selector
Bill Butler – Southern Senior Men’s Selector
Ailsa Milburn – Southern Senior Women’s Selector
It was resolved to appoint Ailsa Milburn as a Southern Open Women’s Selector.
No other nominations have been received. It was agreed to invite expressions of interest in selectors, coaches and managers for BTS representative teams for 2019-20.
Greens Advisory Committee:
No nominations have been received. It was agreed that the Secretary would approach Clubs to seek expressions of interest in filling the two vacancies on the Committee. If no expressions of interest are received it was agreed that this responsibility would rest with the BTS Match Committee.

Banking Authorities:
It was resolved that the President (Peter Kirby), Deputy President (Pat Zapotocky), Secretary (Rob McGuire) and Treasurer (Tony Fulton) be authorised as signatories for BTS Bendigo Bank Accounts.
Roles for Board Members:
President Peter Kirby announced that it was his intention to allocate portfolios to Board members in 2019-20 in line with areas of responsibility detailed in the Strategic Plan 2019-23 which should be finalised in the next month.
Date of next meeting: Will be held on Monday 17 June 2019 at the Buckingham Bowls Club at 4.30pm.
