Dear Resident / Business Owner
This notice is to inform you that ADCO Constructions will be blocking off some car parking spaces along Mileham Ave to set-up a mobile crane to install our site sheds for our workers amenities. These works will take 1-2 days and appropriate traffic control measures will be in place. Two-way traffic will be maintained; however, pedestrians will need to be diverted to ensure their safety.
The location of these site sheds has been reviewed and approved by The Hills Shire Council as the most suitable location for the Waves Redevelopment. The sheds will be positioned on the nature verge with tree protection measures in place. Once sheds are removed at the end of the project, any damaged turf will be restored. The playground equipment has been relocated by The Hills Shire Council so it can still be enjoyed by local children.
When
• Monday 17 August 2020
• These works will take place from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
• We will also be taking delivery of sheds on Tuesday 18 Aug but this won’t impede any parking spaces on Mileham Ave
• Please note that the works may change in the event of inclement weather or for other unforeseeable circumstances outside of our control.
Please be assured that we will be working hard to minimise construction impacts on residents and the local community, and that we are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
What we are doing
• Installation of site sheds for our workers’ amenities.
• Installation of site fencing
• Operation of heavy machinery and construction vehicles.
What to be aware of
Traffic and Pedestrian Changes
• Periods of partial disruptions will be experienced as construction vehicles operate in the work area. Throughout this process, access will be maintained with appropriate diversions in place.
Noise and Vibration
• These works are expected to generate low to medium levels of noise.
We apologise for any disturbances that may occur as a result of these works.
