Upon satisfactory completion of all other requirements, either full exemption from the unit or a grade will be awarded, subject to the discretion of the Head of School or Division responsible for the course. Applicants for credit must refer to the Head of School or Division responsible for the course. The student will be notified of the result by the Academic Registrar as soon as possible.

The form of the review is the responsibility of the relevant head of school or division and will be carried out by the relevant members of the academic staff. The decision of the Committee will be reported to the Academic Board at its next meeting. The right of appeal to the College Council against a decision of the Academic Board, and therefore of an Appeals Committee acting under it, is available to any student.

The secretary will then convene a meeting as soon as possible to discuss the abolition. For a statement to be valid, the number of votes cast must be greater than half of the number of members present.

GENERAL
On the advice of the Student Assessment Committee and with the approval of the Chair of the Board of Studies/Teacher Education Council or nominee, students may be offered the option of taking another unit instead of the passed unit where such a unit is available. Students who are unable to achieve a satisfactory level of performance in any compulsory studies within a course may be excluded. Students who accumulate errors in excess of the limits set forth in TABLE 3, regardless of whether such errors are subsequently redeemed, may be expelled.

ASSESSMENT POLICY
Students will be informed of the outcome of each assessment item as early as possible, but normally no later than 3 weeks after the date of its submission. Subsequent changes to the test program are not permitted, unless mutually agreed between the teacher(s) responsible for the component and the students taking the component, and only if approved by the department head(s) involved; Typically, such adjustments should be completed by the end of the second week of the semester. Any class visits, field trips, or other specific requirements for satisfactory completion of the nit must be specified in the assessment requirements.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
Where necessary, training in the use of the Assistance Center equipment can be arranged with staff. training services. The Manager of Computing Services is responsible to the Executive Principal for implementing the computing policies and plans adopted by the College. The College Computer Users Committee provides input to the Computing Policy and Planning Committee and maintains direct contact with the Manager of Computing Service and with the section managers of the Computing Services Unit.
SOURCES OF ASSISTANCE
The members of the College Computer Users Committee are the six chairmen of the local Computer Users Groups. There are six local computer user groups that bring together interested users on each of the four campuses, as well as use1 within the college's administrative departments and the information center. Employees must ensure that the interests of students are brought to the attention of the group in question.
THE UNION
Lists of private councils, residences, tts and houses are maintained and displayed on notice boards in the Union office, id individual assistance is available from the Union staff on each campus. Staff at the Union Office can direct students to someone who can help with TEAS enquiries. Services are not a static thing, so students should keep an eye on notice boards, NOT A, ::CAE and notices in the Union offices for news.
CONSTITUTION OF THE UNION
EXTRAORDINARY UNION COUNCIL MEETINGS (a)
If the meeting of the Council of the Union does not reach a quorum within thirty minutes after the time set for the beginning of the meeting of the Council of the Union, the chairperson dissolves the meeting. At least seven days' notice shall be given to representatives and executive members for each meeting of the Union Council, provided that additional business may be received at any time before the commencement of the meeting. An extraordinary meeting of the Union Council may be convened at any time at the request of one of the following:-. i) Student meeting on campus, (ii) Executive Director of the Union,. iii) any seven members of the Council of the Union, (iv) any thirty members of the Union.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE UNION
For each Campus Student Meeting, not less than seven days' notice in the form of a Notice of Meeting shall be given by the Campus Secretary, or the Acting Campus Secretary. Additional business may be taken at any time up to the commencement of the Meeting. Not less than four days' notice shall be given for Extraordinary Campus Student Meetings.
GENERAL MEETINGS OF THE UNION (a)
PART VII - UNION EXECUTIVE AND OFFICERS OF THE UNION
The President is the chief officer of the Union and: (a) administratively implements the policies of the Union, (b) coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Union and. The Secretary is responsible for:-. a) convening meetings of the Association, as prescribed in VI. part of this Constitution; An executive officer of the Union may resign by written notice to the Secretary or Acting Secretary of the Union.
PART VIII - CAMPUS VICE-PRESIDENTS, CAMPUS ORGANISERS AN UNION COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES
CAMPUS VICE-PRESIDENTS (a)
On each campus there will be Campus Organizers to coordinate the activities of the Union on Campus. Campus organizers will be elected at the first campus student meeting in each year and will hold office from the date of the campus student meeting at which they were elected until the last day of that year;. The Campus Secretary will be responsible for: i) the preparation and notification of notices of meeting, agendas and minutes for campus student meetings, and. ii) provide assistance to the Secretary of the Union as required.
UNION COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES (a)
The provisions of Part VII - Article 12 of this Constitution apply to Union Council representatives.
Without limiting the generality of the provisions of PART XIII, Section 1 (a) of this Constitution, the Union Council shall make specific provisions with respect to:-. ii) tasks for the Union's managing directors, (iii) conducting general elections and supplementary elections, (iv) clubs and associations, and. v) Associate membership of the Union. Such replacement administrator shall hold the position for the remainder of the previous administrator's term. Od is provided by highly trained staff in one of the most modern catering facilities in Luenesland.
ACILITIES
Its main purpose is to serve the needs of the campus communities by providing an integrated chain of campus stores. Ample parking is available on campus Gympie Road carpa1 Kelvin Grove: Parking space on campus is limited at times and, in the interest of safety and convenience for all members of the campus community, it is approved that vehicles are parked in accordance with the signs erected across the campus. Thus, the College competes in the annual Australian Intercollegiate Championships in track and field, swimming, aquatics, diving and gymnastics. Arseldine Campus: Two ovals have been created on campus, as well as four tennis courts, jogging track and netball, basketball and volleyball courts.
UL TURAL ACTIVITIES
The College Dance Company, 'Momentum', offers additional performance experience for selected students with performance seasons in the Woodward Theater and community venues. The drama department at the Kelvin Grove campus produces a number of plays throughout the year and all students, staff and friends are encouraged to attend. The plays are produced as courses in the Associate Diploma in ten Arts (theatre) and in the Diploma of Teaching (Secondary).
CENTRES FOR PROMOTION OF RESEARCH AND LEARNIN1
Australian Department of Social Security, the Schonell Educational Research Center and the Department of Psychology of the University of Queensland. The Center also runs a variety of in-service programs for teachers under the auspices of the Queensland Department of Education and the Queensland In-Service Education Committee. Reading Center - Mount Gravatt Campus: The Reading Centre, located on Level 2 of the Main Education Building at the Mount Gravatt Campus, was opened in November 1979.
INFORMATION AND ENQUIRIES
Reading resources, currently housed in the Kurrikulu1 Centre, are available for teachers and students to use. This area is adjacent to an extensive stock of language/reading curriculum materials housed in the teaching area. With these facilities, and those available at the Research and Learning Center Headquarters in Reading, the campus center is able to provide information, workshop services, consulting services and programs in specific areas of interest.
DANCE, DRAMA, VISUAL ARTS)
1e Associate Diploma in the Arts is a two-year full-time course with specializations in Dance, Film and Television, Studio Music Teaching, Theater and Visual Arts. The usual Arts field of study is also offered in the four-year part-time mode. The Associate iploma in the Arts is designed to provide a high level of competence relevant to .. rsuance of a career, further professional study or private enjoyment.
1ANCE
Integrated Studies: These are studies common to all Associate Diploma in the Arts students. At the end of each academic year, a practice period is set aside for the preparation of special work in the field of performance and production.

Integrated studies: studies which are common to all Associate in Arts st1 dent degrees. These studies aim to provide an understanding of other areas of the arts and 1 examine and demonstrate the various functions of the arts in society.
ISUAL ARTS SPECIALISATION
In the second half of the specialization, students choose between a Shared Study (following both selected study areas) or a Main Study (specializing in one of the selected1 study areas). Study of selected repertoire pieces; rehearsal of individual aspects of the repertoire or performance of the repertoire. Historical overview of the development of music education; philosophies of music education in the twentieth century.
Exploration of the ways images are produced, from 'straight' to 'manipulated' image development of a personal idiom within this continuum. Block printing: use f large blocks in the production of yardage; applying the dye, organizing work pace and controlling media.
