No. 34 of 1947.

An Act to appropriate out of the General Revenue of

the State the money required for the payment of sinking fund contributions under the Federal Aid Roads Agree-

ment of 1937.

[Assented to 11th De.cember, 1947.J BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament, thereof, as follows :

1. This Act may be cited as the " Appropriation (Federal Short title.

Aid Roads Agreement) Act, 1947 ".

2. (1) The Treasurer shall from year to year issue out of ~n~W:;~~d

the General Revenue of the State such amounts of money as payments.

are required to make the payments into the National Debt Sinking Fund of the Commonwealth, which the State il3 required to make pursuant to clause 3 of the Federal Aid Roads Agreement made on the thirteenth day of August, nineteen hundred and thirty -seven.

(2) The money so issued shall without further appropriation, be applied for making the payments referred to in subsection (1) of this section.
