An Act to apply, out of the General Revenue, the sum of Two Million Pounds to the Public Service for the year ending the thirtieth day of June, nineteen hundred and forty-nine.

BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows :
1. This Act may be cited as the" Supply Act (No.1), 1948 ".

hundred and forty-eight: Provided that there may be paid out of the said moneys-
(a) increases of salaries or wages fixed or prescribed by any return made under any Act relating to the public service, or by any regulation, or by any award, order, or determination of any court or other body empowered to fix or prescribe wages or salaries:

\ b) any sums, not exceeding seven thousand pounds in
the aggregate, required for the purpose of carrying out any scheme under the Recreation Grounds (Joint Schemes) Act, 1947.
(2) The Treasurer is hereby authorized to pay such increases and other sums out of the said moneys.
