EXHIBITION OF PLANNING PROPOSAL RELATING PART 40 SOLENT CIRCUIT, NORWEST (9/2018/PLP)
Council received a Gateway Determination on 11 July 2018 to proceed with a Planning Proposal affecting part of 40 Solent Circuit, Norwest. The proposed amendments seek to facilitate the use of spaces on the ground floor of the building (currently approved as four neighbourhood shops with a combined area of 400 sqm) for the purpose of café/restaurants (up to 200 sqm), shops (up to 100 sqm) and business premises (up to 100 sqm).
Delegation for making of the LEP has been issued to Council under the Gateway Determination.
To achieve the intended outcome, the planning proposal seeks to amend Schedule 1 – Additional Permitted Uses of The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2012 to permit the following additional permitted uses on the site, subject to development consent:
• Business premises with a maximum combined gross floor area of 100 sqm;
• Shops with a maximum combined gross floor area of 100 sqm; and
• Restaurant or café with a maximum combined gross floor area of 200 sqm.
