Timelines for the submission of work programs for the English Extension Senior Syllabus 2010
Purpose
To advise timelines for schools and review panellists to submit work programs for the English Extension Senior Syllabus 2010.
Background
In memorandum 043/10 all schools were advised about the open trial of the English Extension Senior Syllabus 2010.
The 2010 English Extension syllabus will be for one year only in 2011. The syllabus is for Year 12 students only.
Information
Schools preparing for 2011 will submit work programs using the web-based system WPOnline.
Review panellists and schools may commence writing work programs in accordance with the revised syllabus. Please follow the advice on the QSA website.
The timelines for the submission of review panellists’ work programs are as follows:
State review panel chair — before end of the 2010 school year
State review panellists and district review panel chairs — before the end of the 2010 school year
District review panellists — by the end of Term 1, 2011.
The timelines for the submission of schools’ work programs are as follows:
Schools’ work programs are to be submitted by the beginning of Term 2, 2011.
