Purpose

To notify teachers and schools that the QCAA is seeking applications for QCAA assessor (endorsement) and QCAA assessor (confirmation) roles.

Information

• gain continuing professional development (CPD) points for registration renewal

• network with like-minded colleagues across Queensland

• have the opportunity to earn extra income for work completed outside school hours.

Having QCAA assessors on staff:

• provides schools with a shared understanding of assessment design and instrument-specific marking guides

• increases schools’ capacity for building internal quality assurance processes and teams

• supports schools to improve assessment judgments and report accurate provisional results to the QCAA
