There are at least three standing committees of the Board which are called: -. No member, except the chairman and deputy chairman of the committee, may be a member of more than one committee at the same time. Based on this monthly report, it is the chairman's duty to ensure that the manager compiles a quarterly report to inform the board and the minister.

If specialist periodontal treatment is required, it would be necessary to refer unsuitable patients to a private Pel1iodont.ic specialist. If specialist orthodontic treatment is required, it would be necessary to refer unfit patients to a private orbodontist.

To be assessed by dentist between. e) Repairs (removable or fixed appliances). g) Space managers and holding equipment. h) Space maintainers (non-precious metal, including preformed crowns and attachments). It is noted that certain amendments to the regulations dated January 17, 1952 were withdrawn prior to the date of this publication. All amendment provisions appearing in a Gazette have thus been withdrawn. This Note does not refer to the Gazette.

THE Regulation dated January 17, 1952, published in the Government Gazette of January 19, 1952, and subsequently amended from time to time, regarding reimbursements for housing and nursing care for patients in hospitals, on the whims to which the views of the Hospital Act apply are hereby amended as follows:-. Regulations A and 5 are repealed and the following Regulations are inserted in their place: i) Patients are classified as follows: -. a) Patients of private doctors staying in a single room; The costs that may be charged by councils for patient accommodation and nursing services in relation to classified patients.

Provided that in relation to each year of service for which disciplinary action has been taken against an officer or employee, the permanent head of the Department of Health may, having regard to the nature and time of the offence, an official's claim to a period not exceeding the long service leave for that year. An officer or employee who has taken or is taking long service leave shall thereafter be entitled again after completion of the period of the TEEF to long service leave, but no officer or employee shall be entitled to further long service leave under this provision, unless and to the minimum period of such leave which may be granted to him hereunder shall be four weeks. The period of such long service leave will be calculated as determined in regulation (2) hereof in respect of the officer's or employee's entire continuous service after deducting any long service leave previously taken.

This regulation shall not apply in any case where the permanent head of the Health Department is satisfied that the official or employee concerned has been guilty of a breach of the Hospitals Act which would have justified such official being dismissed from or required to to resign from the hospital system. If an officer or employee is retired or his service is terminated for any reason other than misconduct on the expiry of a period of at least ten years continuous service, payment shall be made to him with the approval of the Permanent Manager or the Executive Director of Services also Assistant Under-Secretary or the Director, Hospital Administration in the Ministry of Health in lieu of long service leave, an amount equal to pay at the rate he was receiving on the date of retirement for the period specified below. The periods mentioned in the rules and (10) hereof shall be calculated as provided in rule (2) hereof for the entire continuous service of the officer or employee, after deducting suoh periods any long leave previously taken.

REGULATIONS PRESCRIBING STANDARD FORMS OF DEBENTURE

All payments under this debenture shall be made by the Board to the Bank in Branoh O'f the ,at in the State O'f Queensland for so long as the Bank shall hold this debenture or if the Bank shall sell this debenture after the transferee or transferees for the time being in the office for the time being of the Board:. DEBENTURE

The fees payable under this debenture are charged on all income of the Borrower however arising. The Borrower shall pay all principal interest" and other fees payable by the Borrower to the Borrower under this Indenture to the Borrower at the office of the Borrower in Brisbane in the State of Queensland. The fees payable under this Indenture are charged on all income (including rates if any) of the Borrower however arising.

In accordance with the provisions of clause (viii) of sub-section (7) of section 24 of the "Hospitals Rules, 1936 to the form in the Schedule hereto prescribed as the standard form of debenture in the case of a loan which the Board is authorized to raise by sale of debentures to C.B.C. SPAREKANSEN LIMITED (hereinafter with its successors referred to as "the Bank") or other holder or holders thereof for the time being at the Bank's bank building at the Principal amount per installments and at the times indicated respectively in the third and fifth columns of the annex hereto.

Payment payable by. the principal amount and interest will be. eaoh and a final installment of. at the times specified in the fifth column of the Schedule in question. The monies payable hereunder shall be wholly and solely charged to the revenue of the Board however arising. Delivery of such Indenture to Borrower shall be a good discharge of the principal and interest specified therein and Borrower shall not be obligated to claim the title of the holder.

HOSPITALS BOARDS INSCRIBED STOCK AND DEBENTURE REGULATIONS '1980

In the case of shares written in the name of the infant only, the principal may be paid, in accordance with the direction of a parent or guardian, to either the infant or the parent or guardian. The Registrar is not obliged to investigate the authority of the persons named in the certificate. After the registrar enters the address or change of address in the index in the register, the address or change of address will be the owner's registered address.

At the written request of the owner or his duly authorized representative, the Registrar may issue a certificate to another person on behalf of the owner.
