cost of Her Rlijjesty's txoops in proportion to the number of men therein respectively stationed-Ce it thercforc Enacted, by the Governor-in-Chief of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council a r d Housc of Assembly of the said Province in this present Ya~lianlcnt assembled, as follows :
1. Thcrc shall bc payqble, for the eighteen months ending the liaomnot exceeding

Revenue of the said Yrovilicc, L: s11m not exceeding thc sum of Six Thousand Pounds, for the purpose of contributing h ~ ~ n r t l s the cost of H c r Majesty's troops on servicc iu the said Province: Provided that payment sball be nladc inonthly, a t thc rstc of Forty Pounds per annurrr for each man crxly who shall be on servicc when the usual monthly rcturn is nx~de of officers a d soldiers of Her Majesty's Infantry on service in the said Province.
