An Act to increase the Salary payable to the Governor.

)E it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the "Governor's Salary Act, 1922." Short title.

2. The salary payable to the Governor shall be at the rate of Govcmor's suJary to

Five Thousand Pounds a year. ~~;~;

3. There shall be payable to His Majesty every financial year out of the General Hevenue of the State, in addition to the sum of Four Thousand Pounds reserved to His Majesty in the Civil List contained in Schedule A of the Constitution Act, for payment o£ the salary of the Governor, the further sum of One Thousand Pounds.

4. The salary provided for hy this Act shall be payable from the Jncreascd salary

5. Notwithstanding the provisions of the Taxation Act, 1915, Salttrycxemptfrom
