SPECIAL EDUCATION
The Master in Special Education is a taught program of 48 units offered by the Faculty of Education, Humanities, Law and Theology. Some topics are presented in external mode COURSE OBJECTIVES. To qualify for the Master of Special Education a student must complete 48 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each subject according to the study program below.

MIDWIFERY
Except with the permission of the faculty board, the course must be completed in four consecutive semesters. To qualify for the Diploma in Midwifery, a student must complete 36 umts with a grade of P or NGP or better in each subject according to the program of study below. PUBLIC HEALTH
5 Except with the permission of the board, a full-time student for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must complete an approved study program for a period of at least two and a maximum of four years and six months, and a part-time student for a period of a minimum of three and a maximum of nine years from the month in which enrollment began. 6 At the end of the approved study program or during the approved period as specified in Article 1 5 above, each student for graduation must present a thesis that includes the results of the work done during enrollment and represents a significant contribution to knowledge or scholarship with the scope of the course . 7 A thesis presented for a degree must not contain material that has been accepted for the award of any other degree or degree, nor must it contain any material previously published or written by another person, unless in the text of the dissertation or in notes.

PALLIATIVE CARE
The Master of Science (Palhat1ve Care) is only available on a full fee-paying basis. The Master of Science (Palliative Care) is a 72-unit coursework and thesis program offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences on a full fee-paying basis. The course articulates with the Postgraduate Certificate rn Health (Palliative Care) and the Master of Palhat1ve Care and the sequentially developed topics allow progression through the three awards.
The course is normally only offered to students transferring from a Master's degree in Pall1attve Care, but the Faculty Council may under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions. To qualify for the Master of Science (Palliative Care), a student must complete 72 units graded P or NGP or above in each subject in accordance with the following program of study.
PRIMARY HEALTH CARE
The Master of Primary Health Care is a 54-unit program that the Faculty of Health Sciences implements both internally and externally. The aim of the course is to provide opportunities for experienced doctors and managers in primary health care. Applicants who do not have a Graduate Certificate in Health (Primary Health Care) or a Graduate Diploma in Primary Health Care are normally required to do so.
To qualify for the Master of Primary Health Care, a student must complete 54 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each subject according to the following program of study. 36 units of courses from Graduate Diploma rn Prrmary Health Care or Master of Prrmary Health Care rncludrng.
REMOTE HEALTH PRACTICE
The course is normally only available to students holding a Graduate Diploma in Primary Health Care or transferring from a Master of Primary Health Care and who have completed 36 appropriate units of coursework (for which credit will be awarded). Both the graduate certificate and graduate degree have three main areas of study, the distance context, distance healthcare and advanced practice. To seek the Graduate Diploma in Distance Health Practice, a student must complete 36 units with a grade of P or NGP or better any topic under the following program of study HLTH 800 I Distance Context I 6 HLTH 8002 Distance Health Care I 6 HLTH 8003.
