Course Title: Contemporary Affairs: World & Bangladesh

This course is designed to shed light on the following areas: Recent development on the political, social, economic and cultural issues and crises in Bangladesh and the world. The course contents thus may change on the basis priorities as the time demands. .
Course Objectives: After completing this course, the students will be able to:
Apprehend major incidents and crises in the modern world including Bangladesh
Demonstrate analytical ability on the current issues in national and international politics, economy, trade, environment, health and armed conflicts
Understand the functions and role of major national and international institutions, NGOs and INGOs etc.
