This internship titled "ISP Configuration on Linux Server and MikroTik Platform", submitted by Samal Chandra Bhowmic, ID No to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Daffodil International University, has been accepted as satisfactory in partial fulfillment of the degree requirements. of B.Sc. Syed Akhter Hossain, Professor and Head, Department of CSE, for his kind help in completing my internship and also for other faculty members and the staff of CSE department of Daffodil International University. I might like to thank all my course mates at Daffodil International University who participated in this exam while I completed the course work. The goal of the internship was to develop an instant communication server with protected message or data using the Linux operating system.
The first part of the internship report provides an overview of the Linux operating system and server details. Because the entire work was done practically, a lot was learned about setting up and testing the individual ISP services.

During the internship, I realized that I am very well versed in the details of Linux network and server management as well as mikroTik and Cisco. They are the most experienced and established organization in the field of ICT, where their core business ethos is a long-term relationship with their customers. As we observe the development through the decade since our establishment, they are largely satisfied with what they have achieved and significantly more strengthened as they have a view for a similarly encouraging future.
It might satisfy you to realize that they started their activity in the year 2002. In the middle of the previous years, they expanded their assignment and administration portfolio as indicated by the customer's suggestions and considerations of time. They use the latest advances and update the administrations where necessary.
They're Corporate Network Solutions Division is capable of delivering system mastery and media streaming arrangements with a highly effective collection of specialized skills. In chapter (1) I have described the introduction, the objective of the practice, the motivation, the introduction to the company and the presentation of the report.

A root partition is where "/" The root directory is located all files (except in /boot) are on the root partition. Before configuring the FTP server, we need to configure the network configuration. The user-based FTP server is controlled by the web browser, which is represented in Figure 3.11. Within those servers can be configured DNS server, DHCP server, FTP server, NFS server, PROXY server, MAIL server, WEB server, SAMBA server, Internet Service Provider [ISP]. The Centos operating system up and running as mentioned earlier can be easily installed from the Apache web server.
If you set up your domain name and name server, the next step is to install and configure your web server. First we execute the command which is (#vim /etc/sysconfig/selinux ), we wrote down “SELINUX=disabled” instead of “enforcing” which is attached below. The upload and download setting has been configured due to the upload and download of any file or folder on the FTP server is represented below Figure 3.9.
The purpose of creating a user and setting a password is only to access the FTP client, but the user cannot access the FTP server.

Through this internship, I learned that one of the main problems and skills is time management and self-motivation. This internship and time management in the office for many hours I had to learn how to motivate myself. I am still open to new opportunities, but I continue to work for the University of Bangladesh in the world.
Career opportunities in Linux mentioning not only the Linux platform, it covers many different areas like: Development of Desktop Applications, Development of Kernel and Device Drivers Today their huge demand for open source software developers and network engineers and open source software. Companies like Google, Yahoo, Boeing, Lufthansa, wiki.org, many companies migrated to cost effective open source solutions.
