In order to ensure international standards in teaching and to offer students ample opportunities to study abroad or gain international experience, IUB maintains peer relationships with a large number of world-class universities and institutions. The University's School of Business and Entrepreneurship offers the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) &. A student's financial guarantor/guardian may come and visit with academic advisors to inquire about their wards' academic performance.
All instructors must log into the Student Attendance page within 10 minutes of the official class start time and submit the attendance form electronically within the next 20 minutes after class time. Re-establishment of this status requires approval from the Registrar's Office, subject to a fee of Tk. Credits earned by a non-degree student will not count toward the graduation requirement at IUB.
The respective school/department will carry out the content matching of the curriculum with IUB's own curriculum for the intended course(s) and accept the transfer. The student must attach the official copies of the most recent academic transcripts and official course descriptions issued by the previous institutions with the transfer credit application.

However, in order to continue at the university, the student may change majors or schools depending on the failed course(s). In situations where a student is unable to complete the course due to unforeseen illness or family emergency and has not attended at least 75% of the hours held, he/she will be asked to withdraw from the course in question and repeat that. In unavoidable circumstances where students have completed 75% of the class but are unable to continue due to illness or extreme family emergency, instructors are requested to give the student a composite grade based on assignments/tests already completed and any additional assignments/exams that the instructor feels are necessary.
The student must complete the request before the end of the following semester in consultation with the subject teacher, in case of failure the grade will be converted to 'F'. A CGPA of less than 2.00 will result in the student being placed on probation and such a student should immediately consult with his/her Academic Advisor. If the CGPA is below 1.50 and the student is on probation for two consecutive semesters at the end of which his/her admission to this University is cancelled.
If the CGPA is 1.50 or above but still below 2.00, the student is permitted to continue one more semester on probation. At the end of this third semester of probation, the student must increase the CGPA to 2.00 or above; otherwise his/her admission in this university will be cancelled.

Students can take any two courses including one with Lab/Tutorial and another without Lab/Tutorial 5. 7 Compulsory for SETS students according to the requirements of the respective Majors and Bio-Chemistry 8 Compulsory for SETS students according to requirements of the respective Majors. 10Students must take one of the BDS109, BPH101, BLA101 & NCH 101 and any other course from the Humanities category to meet the requirements to earn six (6) credits.
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
IUB SCHOLARSHIP AND FINANCIAL AID
A student who has registered and paid the full tuition fee and leaves before the beginning of the semester for which he was admitted, is entitled to a refund of 80 percent of the fee paid. A student who has registered and paid the full tuition fee, but after attending classes until the 'add/do' period is unable due to health or unavoidable family reasons, has the right to adjust 75% of the tuition fee paid if registered. for the following semester. A student who has registered and paid full tuition fees, but dies or is permanently disabled before the start of the semester, then he/she is entitled to a refund of the full tuition fee and if he/she dies or is permanently disabled within two weeks. of the beginning of the semester, then he/she is entitled to a refund of 80 percent of the tuition fee.
In the case of a student on a scheme of installment payment of tuition fees, if some installments have not been paid at the time of death/permanent disability, the amount due will be refunded. If a student, who is still studying at IUB, owes any amount from the IUB account, the amount can be adjusted with semester tuition fees or with any other fees. If a student leaves the University or has completed the graduation requirement, he/she can apply for a refund.
Students who wish to receive a refund of their fees must submit an application to the Registrar.

Students can take the printout from the printer for free as per the respective school guidelines. Academic counseling is available throughout the student's life at the university. At the time of admission, each student will be assigned a supervisor who can continue academic guidance throughout the academic year.
The advisor will advise, supervise and monitor student performance, internships and advise them on career planning and development. Students, especially those on probation, should be in contact with an academic advisor prior to enrollment and seek his/her guidance throughout the semester. The IUB Career Guidance and Mediation Center offers career counseling services and organizes a job fair for students.
Career options, job search and the use of database about business and individuals are part of the help offered. Throughout an academic year, visiting scholars, leaders from industry, commerce, media, social sciences and environmental development are invited to share their views with the students and deliver insightful talks on careers.
