I am pleased to submit the internship report as a partial fulfillment of the BSS (Hons) in Journalism and Mass Communication. I have concentrated my best to present this report of my internship from The Daily Campus. It was a great opportunity for me to acquire knowledge and experience in respect of one of the famous Bangla daily in Bangladesh. I believe that the knowledge and experience I have gathered during my internship will help me immensely in my professional life. I have dedicated my best interest to achieve the goals of the practical orientation and I hope that my endeavor will serve the purpose.
This internship period has been a very good experience for me because it has given me the opportunity to understand the professional world outside the classroom. With a grateful heart, I would like to remember all those people who inspired and supported me during my internship program. Towfique-E-Elahi for his excellent supervision for whom it became possible for me to make a good report of practical knowledge, and I would also like to thank all the teachers of my department. I also want the authority of The Daily Campus for giving me the opportunity to complete my internship with their reputed organization.
The experience and knowledge gathered from The Daily Campus will help me understand how to develop my professional life. Knowledge gathering/ learning
Today, during my internship program, I have learned a lot as a sub-editor and also as a daily campus field worker. In the office and outside I have learned a lot about my workplace and current situation. PUBLISHING AND EDITING NEWS - As a beginner, I didn't have much knowledge about gathering, publishing and editing news.
I found out that you have to take care of the whole country about the different condition of the country, therefore your own personal sector. I had to communicate with all the online newspaper journalists and various professional personalities on a daily basis to gather news and edit them which made me so knowledgeable about news. Practical experience - it is known that the knowledge gathered by the experience is the best learning of anyone apart from bookish knowledge.
While studying journalism, we realized that experiential knowledge is the most important in this field. The process of gathering information and organizing these things was much more difficult than we knew. I have to check and judge all news and determine their clarity and validity.
From the first week I have to submit my edited news to the supervisor, so by the 10th week I have become more proficient in editing and publishing news. As an internee, I wasn't allowed to cover so much news, so I couldn't improve myself as expected. Sharing- After the first month passed, I connected with several reporters of various media houses, including reporters from Campus Daily.
I shared information with my counterparts and a member of a Daily Campus Facebook group of journalists, in which group members update breaking stories 24 hours a day.

Some of them seem to me very ambiguous and unknown and even something very simple, and I thought that it would not be necessary in the future. But the actual situation I learned from the practical knowledge work in the workplace is completely different from my thoughts. It shows me the knowledge that everything is necessary for everyone and that sometimes the simpler becomes the hardest.
Therefore, I will always owe this internship opportunity as it brings my thoughts to light and shows me that I need to improve myself more and more in the coming days to keep UpToDate with the new environment and the new place. I learned how to approach people and ask them about different types of questions. I also got to know how to behave in a business place and what is the result of every decision.
Therefore, I can say that in addition to this academic knowledge, I was able to gain practical knowledge of a workplace. Being an intern, I had no experience and as a non-professional, I wanted to learn how to report and edit them. From him I got some basic and professional advice on reporting and not using the word.
To be a strong candidate in the employment sector, an applicant must have additional qualities in addition to the degrees. This three-month internship experience has given me the opportunity to develop our skills and build a solid foundation for a future career.
CHAPTER FIVE CONCLUSION
Conclusion
Every step of the work there was a new experience for me. My supervisor and my colleagues at Daily Campus were very supportive. It was almost impossible for me to learn a single word about journalism without them.
