The internship report focuses on "An analysis of the human resource management activities of Ripon Knitwear Limited". I am pleased to certify that the internship report on "An Analysis of Human Resource Management Activities of Ripon Knitwear Limited". Prepared by Md. My special thanks goes to all the members and colleagues of Ripon Knitwear Limited for providing me with various kinds of inputs related to this study.

Here we discuss Ripon Knitwear Limited's HRM, its procurement function, HR planning of Ripon Knitwear Limited, its recruitment process and selection policy. Ripon Knitwear Limited is the world's leading research-based Apparel company with a powerful combination of skills and resources to provide a platform for delivering strong growth in today's rapidly changing healthcare environment. My respected supervisor Assistant Professor Sheikh Abdur Rahim provided me with a topic: "An Evaluation of HRM Activities of Ripon Knitwear Limited" to work on.

This report will give a clear idea of ​​the several activities of the Human Resource Department of Ripon Knitwear Limited in which I have been involved. ¾ This will increase the barriers to the existing problems of Ripon Knitwear Limited in exporting apparel products.

Ripon Knitwear Limited, consisting of sister 100% manufacturing industries, is specialized in manufacturing all types of underwear from woven items with a well-known international market. Ripon Knitwear Limited first manufacturing unit was established in 2003, but now the organization includes 20 sister companies. Ripon Knitwear Limited growth and development will be determined by the growth of their customers.

Ripon Knitwear Limited organizes internal training programs for all staff and workers to achieve quality standards and production efficiency. By introducing the latest developments in manufacturing technology, Ripon Knitwear Limited always manages to stay in line with world class standards. Ripon Knitwear Limited employs over five thousand skilled workers and around five hundred management staff across its manufacturing facilities and corporate headquarters.

The production team consists of skilled workers and approximately seventy percent of the workforce consists of women. The management staff consists of a healthy combination of national and international recruits, focused on providing Ripon Knitwear Limited with the capabilities required to compete successfully in global manufacturing and exports. To support the country in its prime venture and to leverage the opportunities of an already established product market, Ripon Knitwear Limited has focused on the readymade garments sector.

Ripon Knitwear Limited works with its clients to translate designers' sketches, images as well as original samples for their committee presentation meeting. These samples are developed using yarns mainly suggested by customers or, in some cases by Ripon Knitwear Limited, based on visits to yarn fairs. Modernist garment manufacturing techniques have been tailored to comply with Ripon Knitwear Limited's production process and introduced into its facilities to ensure optimum efficiency.

Modern womenswear manufacturing techniques have been adapted to Ripon Knitwear Limited's manufacturing process and adopted in its facilities to ensure optimum efficiency. Ripon Knitwear Limited uses precision machinery to ensure its production and is well equipped with all necessary machinery. There are also some specialized machines for special products Ripon Knitwear Limited has pocket pocket, blind knitting, press puller, garment press, bias and garment, metal detector, setting machine, (trouser finish), Rhine stone, pinning and some other rare and valuable cars.

Ripon Knitwear Limited employs more than 5000 skilled workers and around 500 supervisors and management staff in its manufacturing facilities for smooth operations. They have earned a reputation as markers of quality clothing in our never-ending quest for quality; Ripon Knitwear Limited ensures strict quality control measures where each product must go through a series of thorough checks.

Introduction

The successful management of an organization's human resources is an exciting, dynamic and challenging task, especially at a time when the world has become a global village and economies are in a state of change. The scarcity of talented resources and the growing expectations of today's worker have further increased the complexity of the human resources function. Even though specific human resource functions/activities are the responsibility of the human resources department, the actual management of human resources is the responsibility of all the managers in an organization.

¾ Skills Change: Ripon Knitwear Limited tries to develop the skills of employees through a particular training program. ¾ Workplace Decentralization: Ripon Knitwear Limited uses workplace decentralization to fine qualified workers. After the applicant is accepted as an employee, he/she invites for the orientation program organized by Ripon Knitwear Limited.

This type of method is not organized by Ripon Knitwear Limited but some senior staff have done it. Rotation Ripon Knitwear Limited follows this method by transferring one unit to another unit of employees. This is done by Ripon Knitwear Limited so that the employee can fully concentrate on the training programme.

Ripon Knitwear Limited maintains strict health and hygiene regulations as per ILO and Bangladesh labor laws. Leave System of Ripon Knitwear limited 10 days for Casual Leave (CL), 14 days Seek Leave (SL) and 12 days Earned Leave (EL).

CHAPTER: FOUR SWOT Analysis

Organizational Strengths as skills and abilities that enable an organization to convince and implement some of its strategies. Organizational weaknesses are skills and capabilities that prevent an organization from selecting and key strategies that support its missions. By segmenting the market into the existing market share, the company can find potential market opportunities.

3 The transportation system of Bangladesh is improving and Ripon Knitwear Limited is located near the airport, so it is a great opportunity for the company. Organizational threats are areas in the environment that increase the difficulty of an organization to perform at a higher level.
