ABSTRACT

This project is to build a robot rover as a robot that moving in a darkness

place. The purpose of thjs project is to construct a Robot Rover capable of solving a

maze to foUow the light with the use of a self contained computer program. The

Robot Rover is capable of single handedly resolving a maze of any predictable given

size and solve on unknown maze in the shortest time. The robot body itself will

become is own wheel. It uses a Micro controller, two wheels built with aluminum.

The two wheels will be used for steering and allowing moving forward, backward

left and right. Having two independent motors to tum each of the two wheels will do

trus. The input/output interface will be used to interface to the input and output

mechanism sensor. The micro-controller will control input/output to perform robot

rover moment. The rover is. controlled by software that is programmed into the

Micro controller written in Machine language. The rover will be started and then it

will wheels it is way through the maze until it finds the destination, and then the

rover will know what task to be performed next. In order to explore the world of

robotics and Artificial Intelligence, a practical unit with which to practice heuristic

maze circumventing algorithms had to first be acquired.
