UPAVA PENANGGULANGAN DAMPAK KEBISINGAN TERHADAP
PENDENGARAN PEKERJA DENGAN BASIS PEMETAAN KEBISINGAN (NOISE
MAPPING) DI MANUFACTUlUNG WORKSHPO PT.X

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Identifikasi dan Evaluasi kebisingan dilingkungan
kerja dengan membuat
Noise Mapping;
2) Mengetahui Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NII'IL)
pada pekerja dengan pemeriksaan Audiometri; 3) Merekomedasikan upaya pengendalian
kebisingan berdasarkan
Noise Mapping
yang dibuat,
Rancangan penelitian ini merupakan rangcangan diskriptif menggunakan metode
survey dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan melakukan
pengukuran dan kuesioner, Analisis data dilakukan dengan program computer SPSS Versi
11,
menggunakan analisa
bivariat non Parametric dengan Kendall Tau untuk mengetahui
hubungan antara intensitas kebisingan
dan
dosis bising terhadap hasil Audiogram pekerja yaitu
Noise Induced Hearing Loss.
Lokasi penelitian ini di Unit Manufacturing Workshop PT. X di
Medan,
Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa :1) Daerah Workshop Manufacturing PT X
memiliki tingkat intensitas kebisingan 75% melebihi Nilai Ambang Batas; 2)Pekerja
mendapatkan dosis bising berlebih adalah 85%; 3)Hasil tes Audiometri mendapatkan bahwa
40% pekerja mengalarni NIHL.
Upaya pengendalian kebisingan yang direkomendasikan berdasarkan
Noise Mapping
yang dibuat adalah: 1)Pemakaian Alat Pelindungan Pendengaran berupa
earplug
pada lokasi
yang melebihi Nilai Ambang Batas, 2)Pengendalian secara rnedis berupa pemeriksaan
Audiometri secara berkala; 3)Pengendalian secara teknis berupa pemakain penempatkan
Sound
Barrier
dan melakukan perawatan mesin secara berkala,

EFFORT TO OVER COME IMPACT OF NOISE DUE TO WORKERS HEARING
BASED ON NOISE MAPPING IN MANUFACTURING WORKSHOP PT.X MEDAN

This research had a purpose to: I) Identify and evaluate noise on working environment
by making Noise Mapping. 2) Know Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) on worker using
Audiometric test. 3) Recommend Noise Control based on Noise Mapping.
The Design of this research was descriptive design using survey method with cross
sectional approach. Data was collected using measurement devices and questioner. Data was
analyzed using software computer program SPSS version 11, using statistical test
that is
bivariat
non parametric analysis with Kendall Tau to find out the relation between Noise level,
Noise Dose and NIHL. This research was located in the Manufacturing Workshop Unit PTX
Medan.
Result of the research were concluded that: I)Workshop Manufacturing Area at PTX
had Noise level 75% exceeded the limit. 2) The worker received noise over dose was 85%. 3)
Audiometric test result showed that
40%
of worker experiencing NIHL.
Recommended Noise Control based on Noise Mapping are : 1) The use of hearing
protector device that is Earplug in Area with Over the limit noise Level. 2 ) Medical noise
control with Audiometric test Periodically. 3) Technical noise control with the use of Sound
Barrier and maintain machines periodically
