Use the simple past tense to talk about things that happened in the past. The simple past tense is also used to talk about things that happened in stories.

dan juga biasa digunakan untuk membicarakn hal-hal yang terjadi dalam cerita atau kisah.
Simple Past Tense
In past event we should use verb 2 to indicate the occured action. (Kita harus menggunakan kata kerja bahasa inggris bentuk kedua untuk menerangkan peristiwa/kegiatan yang sudah terjadi)

Possesive digunakan untuk menunjukan kepemilikan. Terdapat possesive adjective dan possesive pronoun. Possessive adjective biasanya diikuti dengan barang atau sesuatu yang menjadi kepemilikan. Contoh : “My cat, Her pencil, His pen.” Sedangkan Possessive pronoun biasanya tidak diikuti dengan barang atau sesuatu yang dimilikinya. Contoh : “The car is mine, The pencil is hers,

Look at the different sentences below:
- I have a pencil. (Saya mempunyai pensil.) - This is my pencil. (Ini adalah pensil saya.)
- The pencil belongs to me. (Pensil itu punya saya.) - The pencil is mine. (Pensil itu punya saya.)
Examples:
1. I have a house. (Saya mempunyai sebuah rumah.) The house is mine. (Rumah itu punya saya.)
2. Rindi has a story book. (Rindi mempunyai sebuah buku cerita) It is her story book. (Bukacerita itu miliknya.)
3. My aunt has a cat. (Bibi saya mempunyai seekor kucing.) The cat belongs to her. (Kucing itu miliknya.)

We can use “whose” and “whom” to ask the ownership.
1. The sentence which started with “whose ....?”
Example:
A: "Whose book is that?" (Buku siapa itu?)
B: "That is Ms. Yuli's book." (Itu adalah buku Ibu Yuli.)
2. Question with “whom”
Contoh:
A: "Whom does the book belong to?" (Buku itu milik siapa?) B: "The book belongs to Ms.Yuli." (Buku itu milik Ibu Yuli.)
Expression (Ungkapan)
Untuk menanyakan/meminta sesuatu secara sopan, bisa digunakan ungkapan:

Penggunaan dalam kalimat: - May I borrow your book?
(Bolehkah saya meminjam bukumu?) - May I give you a question?

Command adalah bentuk perintah menyuruh seseorang melakukan sesuatu.
Listen !
Command merupakan kalimat yang tegas dan biasanya diakhiri dengan exclamation (!) atau tanda seru karena sifatnya yang memerintahkan seseorang.

Command digunakan untuk menyatakan keinginan dari pembicara kepada lawan
bicara.
Command dapat berupa sebuah larangan, misalnya: 'Don't swim too
far!' atau 'Don't step the grass!'
