ABSTRACT
Migrant worker is an act of someone to work abroad. By working, someone will get
paid. The payment is called remittance which is sent back to the worker’s original country as
their family support. The remittance will be used by the family well to fulfill the needs. It is
good for the economic country development, such as Indonesia. Through remittance is hoped
to break the vicious circle of poverty in Indonesia. The biggest number of imigrant workers
are women who work as a housekeeper which is become country commodity and others.
Nowdays, export of imigrant labor and its agreement has become the tren view of capitalist
economic system. Therefore, it is necessa ry to have business ethics by utilitarism perspective
related to Indonesia women migrant workers as a housekeeper. Data used in this r esea rch is a secondary data from many collection by online information during this last 5 years. From
the collected data be able to dra w into a relavant literature about Indonesian workers a re
used as a commodity in the global market.
