The purpose of this study is to discuss the study about how the influence of the application of talent management and work life balance on organizational performance at PT. Telkom in indonesia on his final get the nickname as the corporate scandals in Asia. It is with regard to the talent availability and the company's ability to manage his best people (talent retention).

Design/methodology/approach

The research method is a descriptive. The aim of descriptive verification method are to describe, explain, and validate findings. Description emerges following creative exploration, and serves to organize the findings in order to fit them with explanations, and then test or validate those explanations (Krathwohl, 1993). Population of this study is employees of PT. Telkom are top and middle management in PT. Telkom Bandung especially PT. Telkom Japati Bandung.

Expected findings

Hypotesis was developed in this study is the perception that if the companies do talent management related there is the availability of talents and companies can do talent retention. so that the expected results from this study is that the perception that talent management and work lofe balance can affect the performance of an organization.

Purpose:

As a true national heritage for a country, craft industry encompasses goods that are handmade by artisans, craftsmen or those skilled in a particular trade. This article is aimed to present and promote the creativity and innovation of the craft industry of “Antemoro paper” in Ambalavao Madagascar. The cultural heritage is one of the richest and the most important resources, with the capacity to generate import economic and social resource favor the nation.

Design / methodology / approach:

This study will apply quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches within the data and archival research from a wide range of literature regarding the issues to be discussed on reviews of the books, textbooks, newspapers, and internet both theoretically and empirically relevant to the problems being faced or related to the object of research that is being conducted.

Expected findings:

The findings that we expect from this research is to get information on specific handicraft of “Antemoro paper” in order to promote it internationally. Craft can be significant contributor to a country’s economy, so the craftsmen should improve their creativity while maintaining their traditional techniques in order to preserve this cultural heritage.

This research methodology is using concept, design, design application, material collecting, and assembly. Design of the application will be using flow chart system for mapping some contents of an application correctly.

Expected Findings

The aim of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of sustainable business in cosmetics industry through the consumer perspective. We also compare in depth about the features, marketing strategies, and values of two well-known beauty companies, The Bodyshop and Lush Cosmetics. After compare all sustainable aspect from both companies, we can finally find out which company running better sustainable business practice.

Design / methodology / approach

This study applies qualitative comparative methods. We compare two multinational companies, The Body Shop and Lush Cosmetics to find out which company running better sustainable business practices in cosmetic industry. Both secondary and primary data will be collected and analyzed from qualitative point of view. Interview and questionnaire are conduct in this research as a primary data. Extensive search of article, reports and infomation obtained from company website will be analyzed as a secondary data.

The purpose of this paper is to define a significance part of Internet as the social media platform in tourism marketing in Ukraine with the example of TripAdvisor website. This research seeks to describe how the information on social media can affect the consumer behavior in choosing a tourist destination in Ukraine.

Design/methodology/approach:

In this study paper, the author uses qualitatively descriptive analysis. The data were collected and analyzed in May 2017 from the social media platform such as TripAdvisor.com, probably the largest travel site online. Review of related literature gives the author an important theory and examples of analyzing and interpreting collected data taken from social media based on feedbacks and reviews generated by users/visitors of this site.

This study addresses and identifies brand image by providing qualitative evidence to explain their concepts on brand association of local leather shoesd. XL Axiata Tbk before and after conducting a merger by using financial ratio is: Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Debt Ratio (DR), Net Profit Margin (N-P-M), Return on In-vestment(R-O-I), Return on Equity (R-O-E) and Earnings per Shares (E-P-S).

Design/Methodology/Approach:

This research use a quantitative research method to examine financial-performance of PT. XL Axiata Tbk before and after merger. The data used in this study is based on secondary data obtained from the financial reports of PT XL Axiata Tbk before and after the merger. The financial and accounting data of PT XL Axiata Tbk is collected from the annual reports of 2011 – 2016 to assess the financial-performance improvement of PT. XL Axiata Tbk.

Expected Findings:

The hypothesis developed in this study is the financial-performance of PT. XL Axiata after the merger is higher than before the merger. So, the expected result of this study is that the financial-performance of PT XL Axiata Tbk will increase after merger deci-sion. The impact of merger decision on financial performance reveals that the liquidity, leverage, activity and profitability have improved in the post-merger period.

It aims to present information the structured, factual, and accurate information on application of non financial reward and it’s effectiveness for Bank BNP especially for KTA Mirai+ Division. While the causal research method is to know the influence of non financial reward which is measured suitable with the performance growth and productivity in the side of business and side by side in individual and as a unit.

• The hypothesis develop in this study is a better perception toward regarding productivity and performance base on application and implementation.the reward non only based on financial/fund only, but also implemented in variaty ways of non financialy kind.

Managerial/ Practical Implication

The result of the study will be the managerial implication to the banking management particularly in managing rewards system. Also to be measuring tools from the result. The gap of performance and productivity result compared with the ideals situation will be widely measured and closured.

Originality/Value

This paper is the only study conducted in the banking industry at Bank BNP which measured the impact of non financial reward system for business continuity with the intention to provide the best performance result that bring value for company and also improvement for each individual. Beside that it can be brought to another financial institution or related kind of business (ex: Bank) which is demand high talent with high work preassure in variant level of employee.

ABSTRACT

Purpose

This paper purpose is to develop performance indicator for supply chain and to explore the impact of supply chain at PT. BersamaZatta Jaya as a manufacturing company in Bandung. The correlation is important to find the hidden factors for making decision because in some cases the core problem is related to Supply Chain. This paper also analysis the current state of the manufacturing situation and then do the case study of how model is used in a manufacturing. This case study should be useful for benchmarking with related industries in Japan.

Design/Methodology/Approach

This paper uses descriptive analysis and case study method. Descriptive analysis method presents new performance measurement’s model for supply chain based on countries and companies condition. The model describes:

1. How to identify performance measures at PT Bersama Zatta Jaya, 2. How to group these measures, and

3. How to develop the frameworks to make performance measurement system.

Expected Findings

The expected finding is getting a confirmation about compatibility the new Model of Ronald Maurice Allen if this model implemented at PT. BersamaZatta Jaya. It will make the company able to make Decision Making faster and better with new model implementation by using Ronald Maurice Allen research.

ABSTRACT

Research Background:

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of differentiation strategy implementation toward customer value on Gojek’s performance.

Design/Methodology/Approach:

This paper adopts the differentiation approach and collects data from the customers of Gojek in Bandung City to investigate how a strategic approach affects the customer value of Gojek.

Expected Findings:

The findings indicate that although Gojek provides a lot of convenience in terms of time and low cost, it also often gets complaints from its users. This becomes the issue of the research.

Practical Implication:

The implementation of differentiation strategy includes actions to establish a set of meaningful differences to distinguish a company's offering from that of competitition, it is the multiple challenges for Gojek’ strategy. This paper describes some factors in identifying the strategy in response to the feedback of Gojek’s users in Bandung City.

Abstract

Purpose

The purpose of this research is to analyze the competency gap of each section head in Perum BULOG Divre Jabar and Subdivre Bandung. Competencies analyzed include behavioral competence and technical competence. It is important to improve productivity and company performance.

Design/Methodology/Approach

This study used qualitative methods that aim to present the structured information, factual and accurate information regarding the competency gaps in Perum Bulog Divre Jabar and Subdivre Bandung. Besides this research can reflect the demands of the technical and behavioral competencies needed to achieve its goals.

Research surveys were used to collect data about how the condition of the reality competence of each head section in performing a series of tasks in accordance with the provisions and targets to be achieved by the company. And then, the behavioral competencies and technical competencies what should be owned by their respective section heads. The survey was conducted through the use of questionnaires and interviews to any section heads, supervisors and subordinates. Interviews with executives at the enterprise were conducted to identify the human resource competency on what they expect from HR. Survey research has the main purpose to describe and identify the situation measure and analyze the factors that influence it.

Practical Implication

The results of this study have implications for the company in preparing for Human Resources as a strategic partner in running a business enterprise that can support organizational resilience with high competitiveness and as a reference in finding the right employee to be placed in the right place. This study will provide practical implications as to enhance the capabilities of all employees, the head line and the level of teamwork that is more integrated.

Originality/Value

This paper is the only research conducted in Perum Bulog Divre Jabar and Subdivre Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, which measures the competence of employees in managerial roles as section head.

Purpose

The objective of this research is to analyze Trust and Service Quality Impact To The Patient’s Satisfactory Level According To Customer Value As An Intervening Variable.

Trust, service quality, patient satisfaction, and customer value are very important to do research, with research on the problem, can be known credibility of the hospital in providing services to the community, especially to patients.

Design/Methodology/Approach

The method that is used in this research is survey method. This research uses purposive sampling for sample collecting technique. The research instrument of this research is questioner, and for statistic analysis method, this reseach uses PLS 3.0 to proove the hypothesis.

Expected findings:

The hypothesis in this research is there is effect of trust to patient’s satisfactory level in dr. Soekardjo public hospital in Tasikmalaya City, there is effect of trust to customer value, there is effect of service quality to patient’s satisfactory level, there is effect of customer value as intervening variable to patient’s trust and satisfactory level and there is effect of customer value as intervening variable to the quality of service and patient’s satisfactory level in dr. Soekardjo public hospital in Tasikmalaya City.
