ABSTRACT
“Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Angklung Grup “KLASSIK” dalam Persiapan Lomba Musik Angklung Padaeng VIII di SMPN 1 Karawang Barat Kabupaten Karawang” means to knows about choosing material, adapt material method, learning process and evaluate also to manage the aim after all the learning process. This research do because “KLASSIK” groups usually becomes champion in Lomba Musik Padaeng which the contest itself is National Region contest. The methods that the researchers use is descriptive method with kualitatif research so the results of the research can be descripted with no mistake. Reasearchers do this descriptive research to Esi Destiana and Aan Handoyo as coach of the “KLASSIK” group. The data of this research collects by observasion, interview, documentation study, and index study. From the results, the materials which gave to the “KLASSIK” group are the righteousness of tone, technic on angklung, building of dynamical rythm, and how to feel the soul of the songs. The songs are : “Cinta Untuk Mama”, “Badminton” and “Kompor Meleduk”. Material distribute with some various methods. Teaching method, one by one method, demonstration method, trial and error method, drill method, and simulation method. The material gave with 4 steps. Knowing the songs, evaluate the songs, remembering the songs, and perfecting the songs with trial and error method. After all the training has been done, the member of “KLASSIK” can use all the technics on playing angklung, knowing different types of dynamical on music, much easier on socialized with another member ofthe group and become more capable to work in group, and knowing all the technic on playing angklung also increase self confident to express what their feel when they perform on the stage.
