First of all, the writer would like to express the gratitude to Allah SWT for the mercy and the bless that has given to the writer. Therefore, the writer could finish the final report. This report is written as one of the requirements to finish Diploma study at English Department which is entitled “The Procedures of Designing Crochet Souvenir in the form of Palembang Traditional Food through Tutorial Video”. This final report describes about how to design the procedures of crochet souvenir in the form of Palembang traditional food through tutorial video.

The writer considers that in writing this final report still has many insufficiencies and it is not exactly perfect. This is because the limitation of financial, experience and ability that the writer has. Therefore, the writer expects the readers to give suggestions and critics for this final report.

Finally, the writer expects that this report can give advantage and usefullness especially for all people who loves crocheting and English.

This final report aimed at designing and implementing the procedures of crochet souvenir in the form of Palembang traditional food through tutorial video. The writer used “Design and Implementation” method. The “Design and Implementation” includes 3 steps are: (1) The Assessment , (2) The Data Draft and (3) The Step of Designing. The writer implements the steps by making a tutorial video. And for the result in the performance, there are four procedures of keychain crochet souvenir through tutorial video that the writer implemented. Those are keychain crochet souvenir of Pempek Pistel, Pempek Telok, Lumpang Cake, and Sekayo Cake which presenting the characteristic of Palembang traditional food.
