PELAKSANAAN PENCEGAHAN PENYEBARAN INFEKSI PADA PROSES PERTOLONGAN PERSALINAN OLEH BIDAN PRAKTEK SWASTA
DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SEI AGUL KECAMATAN MEDAN BARAT TAHUN 2015
ABSTRAK
DamayantiLatar belakang: Infeksi merupakan salah satu penyebab utama tingginya angka kematian ibu dan bayi baru lahir. Ibu bersalin yang menerima pelayanan medis dan kesehatan, baik di rumah sakit atau kilink bersalin, dihadapkan kepada resiko terjadinya infeksi. Kejadian infeksi dapat dicegah dan diminimalkan dengan melaksanakan tindakan pencegahan infeksi dalam memberikan asuhan pertolongan persalinan, karena semua ibu bersalin sangat mengharapkan proses persalinan yang aman, bersih dan sehat sesuai dengan pilar ketiga Safe Motherhood, yang merupakan aspek ketiga dari lima benang merah asuhan persalinan yang dikategorikan sebagai asuhan pertolongan persalinan oleh tenaga kesehatan atau bidan
Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pencegahan penyebaran infeksi pada proses pertolongan persalinan oleh bidan.
Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan populasi 10 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling, dimana seluruh popolasi dijadikan sampel.
Hasil: tindakan pencegahan infeksi menunjukan rata-rata nilai 26,30 (SD: 2,21), dimana mayoritas responden (80,0%) melakukan pencegahan infeksi dan hanya kurang dari seperempat responden (20,0%) tidak melakukan pencegahan infeksi.
Kesimpulan: Tindakan pencegahan infeksi berupa cuci tangan menunjukan rata-rata nilai 4,70 (sd:0,84), tindakan pencegahan infeksi berupa pemakaian sarung tangan menunjukan rata-rata nilai 3,90 (sd: 0,99), tindakan pencegahan infeksi berupa penggunaan peralatan tajam secara aman menunjukan rata-rata nilai 3,50 (sd: 0,52), tindakan pencegahan infeksi berupa pemrosesan alat bekas pakai menunjukan rata-rata nilai 8,40 (sd: 0,69), dan tindakan pencegahan infeksi berupa pengelolaan sampah medik menunjukan rata-rata nilai 5,80 (sd: 0,63)

PREVENTION OF THE SPREAD OF INFECTION IN PROCESS AID DELIVERY BY PRIVATE PRACTICE MIDWIFE WORKING IN
THE HEALTH CENTER SEI AGUL SUBDISTRIC MEDAN WEST 2015

Background: Infection is one of the main causes of high mortality rate of mothers and newborns. Mothers who receive medical and health services, either at the hospital or birthing kilink, exposed to the risk of infection. The incidence of infection can be prevented and minimized by implementing infection prevention measures in providing care delivery assistance, because all maternity is expecting the birth process that is safe, clean and healthy in accordance with the three pillars of Safe Motherhood, which is the third aspect of the five red yarn delivery care are categorized as care delivery assistance by health workers or midwives.
Objective: To investigate the implementation of the prevention of the spread of infection in the process of aid delivery by a midwife.
Methods: The study design used is descriptive research with cross sectional approach with a population of 10 respondents. Sampling technique is total sampling, which all popolasi sampled.
Results: infection prevention measures showed an average value of 26.30 (SD: 2.21), where the majority of respondents (80.0%) the prevention of infection and only less than a quarter of respondents (20.0%) did not perform infection prevention.
Conclusion: infection prevention measures such as hand washing indicates an average value of 4.70 (sd: 0.84), infection prevention measures such as the use of gloves showed an average value of 3.90 (sd: 0.99), infection prevention measures such as the use of sharp tools safely show the average value of 3.50 (sd: 0.52), infection prevention measures such as the processing of used equipment showed an average value of 8.40 (sd: 0.69), and infection prevention measures such as medical waste management shows the average value of 5.80 (sd: 0.63)
