Blog Website can be used as a medium that can generate interest and motivation of students in learning. The purpose of this study is to find out how teachers implement blog websites as a medium for learning to read and how students view the use of blog websites as teaching media in class XII of MAN 2 Tabalong in the 2022/2023 academic year.
This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative. This study uses purposive sampling as a way to determine 1 teacher who has been studied and convenience sampling to get 6 students in class XII who have different study rooms.
Observations were made when the teacher taught using the blog website in class and the interviews were conducted separately for each individual.
The results of this studied were that the use of blog website in teaching reading by teachers was still not fully implemented in terms of its function. The blog websites as a medium for teaching reading could increase students' interest and motivation in learning and students also give positive responses to using the blog website as learning media.

Situs blog dapat dijadikan sebagai media yang dapat membangkitkan minat dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru mengimplementasikan situs blog sebagai media pembelajaran membaca dan bagaimana pandangan siswa terhadap pemanfaatan situs blog sebagai media pembelajaran di kelas XII Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Tabalong tahun ajaran 2022/2023.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif.
Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling sebagai cara untuk menentukan 1 orang guru yang pernah diteliti dan convenience sampling untuk mendapatkan 6 orang siswa kelas XII yang memiliki ruang belajar yang berbeda. Pengamatan dilakukan pada saat guru mengajar menggunakan situs blog di kelas dan wawancara dilakukan secara terpisah untuk masing-masing individu.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan situs blog dalam pengajaran membaca oleh guru masih belum sepenuhnya diimplementasikan dari segi fungsinya. Situs blog sebagai media pembelajaran membaca dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar dan siswa juga memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan situs blog sebagai media pembelajaran.
