Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan komitmen organisasi pada pengrajin di Kampoeng Batik Laweyan Surakarta ditinjau dari masa kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Meyer & Allen (1997) dengan tiga aspek yaitu komitmen afektif, komitmen kelanjutan, komitmen normatif. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 70 pengrajin. Terdiri dari 35 pengrajin lama (masa kerja diatas 10 tahun) dan 35 pengrajin baru (masa kerja 0 s/d 10 tahun). Peneliti mengambil data menggunakan Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) yang disusun oleh Meyer & Allen (1997) untuk mengukur tingkat komitmen organisasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan teknik uji independent t-test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 16 for windows. Hasil analisa data dengan uji t menghasilkan thitung sebesar 5,658 dengan sig. 2-tailed = 0,000 (p < 0,05) yang berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan komitmen organisasi antara pengrajin lama (masa kerja diatas 10 tahun) dan pengrajin baru (masa kerja 0 s/d 10 tahun). Komitmen organisasi pengrajin lama (masa kerja diatas 10 tahun) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan komitmen organisasi pengrajin baru (masa kerja 0 s/d 10 tahun).
Abstract
The aim of this study is to identify the organizational commitment differences of the
craftsmen in Kampoeng Batik Laweyan Surakarta, regarding to their working time. This study
uses the theory of Meyer and Allen (1997) with three aspects: Affective Commitment, Continuity
Commitment, Normative Commitment. Sampling method in this study used the saturation
sampling with 70 participants. They consisted of 35 long-serving craftsmen (with more than 10
years working time) and 35 new craftsmen (with 0-10 years working time). Researcher took data
using the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ), compiled by Meyer & Allen
(1997). The data were used to measure the level of Organizational Commitment. The data
analysis method applied independent t-test method, which was completed by SPSS version 16 for
windows. The data analysis result with t-test generated tcount of 5,658 with sig.2-tailed = 0,000 (p
< 0,05) which meant that there were significant differences between the old craftsmen
organizational commitment (with more than 10 years working time) and the new craftsmen (with
0-10 years working time). The old craftsmen organizational commitment (with more than 10
years working time) is higher than the new craftsmen organizational commitment (with 0-10
years working time).
