ginseng (Panax ginseng) is used as an alternative therapy. The objective of this research was to know the effect of Korean Red Ginseng Extract (EGMK) on increasing sexual behaviour of male Swiss Webster mice. This research based on the real laboratory experimental research. Twenty five male Swiss Webster mice were divided into five groups randomly (n=5), three groups were given EGMK respectively EGMK 1 (117 mg/kgBW,) EGMK 2 ( 234 mg/kgBW), EGMK 3 (468 mg/kgBW), control group were given Na CMC 1%, and comparison group were given Sildenafil Citrate 5 mg/kgBW, all were given orally everyday for 7 days. The data measured were the frequency of introducing and mounting. Data was analyzed using One Way ANOVA, follow with Tukey HSD test with α = 0.05. The results showed that the average of total introducing frequencies of EGMK 1, EGMK 2, and EGMK 3 on the third, fifth, and seventh day were very significantly different compared to the control with all p = 0,000. The average of total mounting frequencies of group EGMK 1 on the third, fifth, and seventh day were significantly different compared to the control with p = 0,030. All of EGMK group showed non significantly different compared to Sildenafil Citrate. The conclusion was EGMK increased the sexual behavior of male Swiss Webster mice.
