ABSTRACT
The research was conducted in Basecamp Unit Kenal Lingkungan Faculty of Animal Husbandry Padjadjaran University starting from the 15th November, 2012 to 15th December, 2012. The purpose of the research is carried out the effect of water content on processing biogas of buffalo fæces on producing gas and energy. This Research used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design. There were three kind of treatments of water content (P1 = 85%, P2= 90%, dan P3= 95%) and six replications. To know the influence between the treatment, use of variance in the data obtained and followed by a different test using the Duncan Test. The experiment using buffalo fæces the age of one week. The result of this research show that the water content of substrate provides significant effect on production of gas and energy. Water content 85% in the substrate produces a gas production and the highest energy that is each 0,059 m3 and 60,984 kcal.
