The Characteristic of Commuters in Southern Semarang

ABSTRACT
The dependence of hinterland or sub‐urban area toward Semarang remains high. It is proven by more commuters in almost all sub‐urban areas in Semarang. One interesting node is the commuters from southern Semarang. This area is interesting to study because of the availability of public transportation for inter‐city transport from Solo‐Semarang as well as its influence triggering the increasing of commuters to Semarang.
