Wastewater will result reek and if thrown direct to river will cause impure of the river, this thing is because waste tofu turbid and ashes yellow colored and if let to having colour black and stinks.
As village which is area sentra toffu, condition of waste disposal result of produce of toffu in Karanganyar village very copious because to produce 1 ton knows approximately will be yielded waste 3000 - 5000 litres, though almost every household in Karanganyar village is entrepreneur tofu with various scales so that can be estimated how many waste yielded. Wastewater tofu management it is not impossible to be done, because wastewater tofu can be exploited to become substitution fuel of energy recognized as biogas. So this activity aim to give counseling/extension,training and introduction technologie biogas wastewater tofu to cluster in
Sukoharjo Distric.
