Agriculture Indicator publication of Gunungkidul Regency 2012 is continuation of similar publication, which is published by BPS-Statistics of Gunungkidul Regency.

Some kinds of information in this publication were collected especially from Production Statistics Sub Division, and also from other sub divisions related to agriculture sector. The information consists of :

 Gross Regional Domestic Product of agriculture sector

 The contribution of agriculture sector on Gross Regional Domestic Product

 Harvested area, production, productivity and growth index of some kinds of commodities

 Other data

We hope this publication can give explanation about the growth of agriculture sector, that is an essential sector and the place of the most employers work in Gunungkidul Regency. Critism and suggestions to improve this publication in the future will be highly appreciated.

BAB I. PENJELASAN UMUM

GENERAL EXPLANATION

A. PENDAHULUAN

Pembangunan yang diarahkan pemerintah pada sektor pertanian mengacu pada Program Peningkatan Produksi pada lima sub sektor pertanian. Kelima sub sektor tersebut adalah: tanaman pangan dan hortikultura, perkebunan, peternakan, kehutanan, dan perikanan.

B. TUJUAN

Penerbitan buku Indikator Pertanian Kabupaten Gunungkidul 2012 ini bertujuan sebagai sarana untuk menyediakan informasi tentang sektor pertanian. Selain itu dapat juga digunakan untuk memantau perkembangan yang telah atau sedang terjadi di sektor ini khususnya kontribusinya terhadap PDRB, jumlah luas lahan, dan produksi tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Gunungkidul.

C. KONSEP DAN DEFINISI

1. Pertanian : adalah kegiatan usaha yang meliputi budidaya tanaman bahan makanan, perkebunan, perikanan, kehutanan, dan peternakan.

A. INTRODUCTION

The development that is emphasized on agriculture sector refers to The Program of Increasing Production in five sub sectors, those are food crops, small holders crops, livestock, forestry, and fishery sub sectors.

B. OBJECTIVES

This publication is objected to give some information about agriculture sector. Besides that, the other objectives are to monitor the development has been reached or is being carried out by this sector, especially its contribution on GRDP, land area, and production of food crops in Gunungkidul Regency.

C. CONCEPT / DEFINITION 1. Agriculture: is defined as

activities of cultivating food crops, estate, fishery, forestry, and livestock.

2 2. Produk Domestik Regional Bruto

(PDRB) : adalah jumlah nilai tambah yang dihasilkan oleh seluruh unit usaha dalam suatu wilayah tertentu.

3. Indeks Produksi : adalah produksi pada tahun ke-t dibagi dengan produksi tahun dasar (to) dikalikan 100.

4. Indeks Berantai (Link Index) : adalah perkembangan dalam bentuk persentase, yaitu jumlah atau nilai populasi pada tahun ke-t dibagi dengan jumlah atau nilai populasi tahun t-1 dikalikan 100.

5. Produktivitas : adalah jumlah produksi dibagi dengan luas panen dari komoditas yang dimaksud.

6. Proporsi : adalah perbandingan antara suatu besaran terhadap jumlah seluruh besaran tersebut dalam suatu kelompok dikalikan 100.

D. JENIS KOMODITAS

Dalam memilih jenis komoditas untuk penghitungan, perlu dipertimbangkan kelestarian pemunculan datanya serta tingkat dominasi dari jenis komoditas terhadap kelompoknya. Dengan demikian dapat dihindari substitusi antar jenis komoditas

3. Index of Production : is defined as production of year (t) divided by base year (to) multiply by 100.

4. Link Index : is development in percentage that of value in year t divided by the one of year t-1 multiplied by 100.

5. Productivity : is total production divided by harvested area or number of tree/shrub of certain commodity.

6. Proportion : is rationalization between a value by total value and multiplied by 100.

D. KINDS OF COMMODITIES In order to select kinds of commodities for calculation, one needs to consider the continuity of the data availability and domination of certain commodity against its group. So, The substitution among kinds of

BAB II. ULASAN SINGKAT/ SUMMARY NOTES

Sesuai dengan pembagian kelompok komoditas, maka perkembangan sektor pertanian dapat ditinjau dari perkembangan produksi masing-masing kelompok komoditas. Disamping itu perlu pula diketahui perkembangan kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dan tingkat kesejahteraan petani di Kabupaten Gunungkidul.

According to the group of commodities, growth of agriculture sector can be observed from production increasing of each group commodities. Moreover, it is important to know contribution of agriculture sector to Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and welfare condition of farmers in Gunungkidul Regency.

1. Peranan Sektor Pertanian di Kabupaten Gunungkidul

Kabupaten Gunungkidul dengan sebagian besar wilayahnya merupakan kawasan pedesaan, kondisi perekonomiannya masih sangat bergantung pada sektor pertanian. Hal ini tercermin dalam PDRB Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Hingga tahun 2012, sektor pertanian masih memberikan kontribusi yang paling besar dibandingkan sektor-sektor lainnya.

Sebagai penyumbang terbesar, fluktuasi nilai tambah dari sektor pertanian sangat berpengaruh terhadap total PDRB Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Kontribusi yang besar ini utamanya berasal dari produksi tanaman bahan makanan yang mencapai 24,92 persen terhadap

Gunungkidul regency that is dominated by rural area, its economic condition still depend on agriculture sector. It could be seen on GRDP. Until 2012, agriculture sector still give highest contribution compared by other sectors.

As the highest contributor, fluctuation of value added of agriculture sector influences on total GRDP of Gunungkidul Regency. This significant share was contribution of food crop production that reached

PDRB tahun 2012.

Untuk mengetahui kontribusi sektor pertanian dibandingkan tiga sektor dominan yang lain selama beberapa tahun dapat dilihat dari tabel berikut :

Secara umum PDRB atas dasar harga konstan 2000 sektor pertanian pada tahun 2012 mengalami kenaikan 4,24 persen. Kenaikan terbanyak terjadi pada sub sektor peternakan dan hasil-hasilnya sebesar 5,24 persen. Sub sektor tanaman perkebunan rakyat dan kehutanan juga meningkat masing-masing sebesar 4,31 dan 2,97 persen. Sementara sub sektor tanaman bahan makanan dan perikanan

mengalami peningkatan, masing-masing sebesar 4,28 dan 2,59 persen.

2. Luas Penggunaan Lahan

Tahun 2012 penggunaan lahan untuk pertanian di Kabupaten Gunungkidul mengalami perubahan jika dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Lahan pertanian secara umum meningkat 12,25 persen, dimana perubahan yang paling besar adalah pada lahan perkebunan yang meningkat sebesar 40,60 persen. Akan tetapi jika dilihat dari fungsinya, tegal/kebun mengalami penurunan sebesar 0,01 persen.

Demikian pula untuk luas hutan negara di Kabupaten Gunungkidul juga tidak mengalami perubahan jika dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Akan tetapi terjadi perubahan konsep dimana pada tahun 2011 hutan negara dimasukkan sebagai lahan bukan pertanian, sedangkan pada tahun 2012 hutan negara dimasukkan ke dalam lahan pertanian bukan sawah. Hal ini terjadi karena dalam fungsinya, masyarakat ada yang menggunakan hutan negara sebagai lahan untuk pertanian tanaman palawija.

2. Area of Land Utilization

Simirlarly to the state forest area in Gunungkidul also unchanged when compared with the previous year. However, a change in the concept which in 2011 incorporated as state forest land is not agricultural, while in 2012 the state forest put into agricultural land is not paddy. This happens because in the function, there are people who use the state forest land for agricultural crops.

3. Produksi Tanaman Pangan

Pada tahun 2012 produksi tanaman padi mengalami peningkatan sebesar 5,00 persen dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Untuk tanaman palawija, dua komoditi produksinya turun dibandingkan tahun 2011. Kedua komoditi tersebut yaitu kacang tanah dan kacang hijau masing-masing turun sebesar 2,58 dan 40,73 persen. Sedangkan jagung dan kedelei mengalami kenaikan sebesar 23,91 dan 2,50 persen.

Pada kelompok buah-buahan, pepaya, pisang dan rambutan mengalami kenaikan produksi yang cukup besar. Buah pisang merupakan komoditas buah-buahan yang paling besar kenaikan produksinya yaitu 81,26 persen. Sedangkan jika dilihat dari waktu panennya, untuk buah alpokat, durian, mangga, dan rambutan sebagian besar menghasilkan buah di triwulan IV (Oktober-November) 2012. Sedangkan buah jambu biji, nenas, pepaya, dan sawo hampir merata menghasilkan buah di sepanjang tahunnya.

Pada komoditas sayuran, bawang merah, bayam, kacang panjang, ketimun, dan terung mengalami kenaikan. Kenaikan yang paling besar terdapat pada bawang merah sebesar 102,95 persen. Sedangkan cabe, kangkung,

Two commodities namely peanuts and green beans decreased by 2.58 and 40,73 percent. While maize and soybeans increased by 23.91 and 2.50 percent.

In the groups of fruits, papayas, bananas and rambootans have a subtantial increase in production. Banana is a commodity that most large increased in production is 81.26 percent. If viewed from harvest time to advocad, durian, mango and rambootans fruit in most of the fourth quarter (October-November) 2012. While guava, pineapple, papaya and sapodillas almost evenly bear fruit all year round.

For the vegetables, shallots, spinach, long beans, cucumber and eggplant showed increases. Largest increase occurred in the commodity production of shallots in the amount

sawi, dan tomat mengalami penurunan sebesar 31,69; 36,78, 5,44 dan 33,68 persen.

4. Peternakan dan Unggas

Secara umum populasi ternak kecil dan unggas di Kabupaten Gunungkidul meningkat dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Populasi kambing dan domba naik sebesar 1,71 persen dan 2,51 persen. Populasi unggas yang mengalami kenaikan terbesar adalah pada ayam petelur sebesar 111,15 persen. Sedangkan ternak besar yakni sapi mengalami penurunan sebesar 10,46 persen.

5. Perikanan

Sesuai keadaan geografinya, Kabupaten Gunungkidul memiliki dua jenis budidaya perikanan yaitu perikanan darat dan perikanan laut. Pada tahun 2012, untuk ikan yang dikonsumsi, dari jenis budidaya perikanan darat produksinya meningkat sebesar 30,04 persen dibandingkan dengan tahun 2011. Sedangkan dari jenis budidaya perikanan laut, produksi ikan yang dikonsumsi mengalami kenaikan sebesar sebesar 75,97 persen.

5. Livestock and Poultry

In general, small livestock and poultry populations in Gunungkidul increase over the previous year. Goat and sheep populations increased by 1.71 and 2.51 percent. Poultry population that largest increase is laying hens by 115.15 percent. While cow decrease by 10.46 percent.

6. Fishery

According to the geographical circumstances, Gunungkidul has two types of fishery cultivation land fishery and marine fisheries. In 2012, for the fish consumed, the type of land fishery production increased by 30.04 percent. While the type marine fisheries, production of fish consumed increased by 75.97 percent.
