KATA PENGANTAR

Buku KOTA MALANG DALAM ANGKA 2015 merupakan salah satu publikasi yang secara rutin diterbitkan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Malang.

Data-data yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik merupakan data yang bersumber dari hasil pengolahan survei rutin dan survei khusus yang dilakukan oleh BPS. Sebagai penunjang dan pelengkap data-data yang dihasilkan oleh BPS, maka ditampilkan data yang merupakan hasil pencatatan dari berbagai instansi.

Dengan terbitnya KOTA MALANG DALAM ANGKA 2015 ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dasar bagi berbagai lapisan pengguna data. Untuk lebih menyempurnakan materi dari publikasi ini, maka diharapkan kritik dan saran dari semua pihak demi perbaikan penerbitan selanjutnya

P R E F A C E

The Malang City in Figures 2015 is one of publishing book that is issued annually by BPS-Statistics of Malang City.

The sources of data that showed in table and graphs are basically from routine surveys and particular surveys which is done by BPS. And also supplemented by the data from various agencies.

With the publication of this Malang City in Figures 2015 may give basic information foe user data from all strata. To make this publication material more complete, it’s needed critique and suggestion for better the next publishing.

We would like to thanks to everyone for their help to bring this publication into reality.

1. Keadaan Geografi

Sebagaimana diketahui secara umum Kota Malang merupakan salah satu kota tujuan wisata di Jawa Timur karena potensi alam dan iklim yang dimiliki. Letaknya yang berada di tengah-tengah wilayah Kabupaten Malang secara astronomis terletak pada posisi 112.06o_{– 112.07}o _Bujur

dengan batas wilayah sebagai

 Sebelah Utara : Kec. Singosari dan Kec. Karangploso Kab. Malang

 Sebelah Selatan: Kec. Tajinan dan Kec. Pakisaji Kab. Malang

 Sebelah Barat : Kec. Wagir dan Kec. Dau Kab Malang.

General Description

1. Geographical Situation

Malang is one of the tourism destinations at East Java because it has the natural and climate potential. It is located in the middle of Malang Regency region, according to the astronomical location it lies between 112.060_{– 112.07}0_{East longitude,} 7.060_-8.020_{South Latitude with the} region borders as follows:

 North : Singosari District and Karangploso District, Malang Regency

 East : Pakis District and Tumpang District, Malang Regency

 South: Tajinan District and Pakisaji District, Malang Regency

 West : Wagir District and Dau District, Malang Regency

The size of Malang is 110.06 km2 divided into five districts, they are Kedungkandang, Sukun, Klojen, Blimbing and Lowokwaru.

Klojen, Blimbing dan Lowokwaru. Potensi alam yang dimiliki Kota Malang adalah letaknya yang cukup tinggi yaitu 440 – 667 meter di atas permukaan air laut. Salah satu lokasi yang paling tinggi adalah Pegunungan Buring yang terletak di sebelah timur Kota Malang. Dari atas pegunungan ini terlihat jelas pemandangan yang indah antara lain dari arah Barat terlihat barisan Gunung Kawi dan Panderman, sebelah utara Gunung Arjuno, Sebelah Timur Gunung Semeru dan jika melihat ke bawah terlihat hamparan Kota Malang. Sedangkan sungai yang mengalir di Wilayah Kota Malang adalah Sungai Brantas, Amprong dan Bango.

Iklim

Kondisi iklim Kota Malang selama tahun 2014 tercatat rata-rata suhu udara berkisar antara 22,0o_C

The natural potential owned by Malang is the high location around 440 – 667 meter above the sea. One of the highest locations is Buring Mountainous located in the east of Malang. From the above of this mountain it can be seen the beautiful sceneries, i.e., from the west it can be seen Kawi and Panderman, in the north Gunung Arjuno, in the east Gunung Semeru and if we look down, it can be seen the scenery of Malang city. The rivers flowing in Malang are Brantas, Amprong and Bango River.

Climate

Karangploso Curah hujan yang relatif tinggi selama tahun 2014 terjadi di awal dan penghujung tahun. Curah hujan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Januari yaitu mencapai 385 mm, yang terjadi selama 24 hari. Kecepatan angin maksimum terjadi di bulan Januari dan Februari.

pembangunan. Data penduduk dapat diperoleh melalui beberapa cara yaitu melalui Sensus Penduduk, Registrasi

Penduduk, dan Survei-survei

Kependudukan.

Menurut hasil Proyeksi

Penduduk Sensus Penduduk 2010 jumlah penduduk Kota Malang tahun 2014 sebanyak 845.973 jiwa yang

terdiri dari penduduk laki-laki

sebanyak 416.982 jiwa dan penduduk perempuan sebanyak 428.991 jiwa. Dengan demikian rasio jenis kelamin penduduk Kota Malang sebesar 97,2. Ini artinya bahwa setiap 100 penduduk perempuan terdapat 97-98 penduduk laki-laki. Berdasarkan hasil Sensus Penduduk 2010, pada periode

2010–2014 rata-rata laju

pertumbuhan penduduk setiap tahunnya adalah 0,31 %.

Population

The data of population is necessary on planning and evaluation of development because the people are subject and also object of development. The data of population could be obtained by some methods, they are, Population Census, Population Registration and Population Survey.

According to the result of Projection Polulation of 2010 Population Cencus, the population of Malang 2014 was 845,973 people consisting of 416,982 males and 428,991 females. Then the ratio of gender of Malang population was 97.2. It means that every 100 females there are 97-98 males. Based on the result of 2010 Population Census, on the period of 2010-2014, the average of annual population growth rate was 0.31%.

Seen from its distribution, of 5 districts, Lowokwaru has the most population, as much as 192,066 people,

Dilihat dari penyebarannya, diantara 5 kecamatan yang ada Kecamatan Lowokwaru memiliki penduduk terbanyak yaitu sebesar 192.066 jiwa, kemudian diikuti oleh kecamatan Sukun (188.545 jiwa), Kecamatan

Kedungkandang (183.927 jiwa),

Kecamatan Blimbing ( 176.845 jiwa) dan Kecamatan Klojen (104.590 jiwa).

Sedangkan wilayah dengan

kepadatan penduduk tertinggi terjadi di wilayah Kecamatan Klojen yaitu

mencapai 11.845 jiwa per Km2_,

sedangkan terendah di wilayah Kecamatan Kedungkandang sebesar 4.611 jiwa per Km2 _.

Tenaga Kerja

Jumlah pencari kerja pada tahun 2014 yang terdaftar sebanyak 49 orang pencari kerja laki-laki dan 35

perempuann seperti yang

ditunjukkan pada Tabel 3.2.8. Berdasarkan hasil Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas) tahun 2013 sebagaimana terlihat pada Tabel 3.2.1 penduduk usia 15 tahun ke atas yang bekerja berdasarkan lapangan usaha tercatat paling
