Abstract
Participation of Indonesia in free trade agreements, provide benefit to Indonesia to avoiding trade barriers. However, it raises new barriers for exporters because of the quality standards given the importers are rising, especially in the export of fishery products. Because most of the Indonesian fishery products exported either fresh or frozen. Therefore, a good business process is required to take care the product quality according to standard quality by the importers. The research is conducted on the business process that referring with the importers standard.
This research is using qualitative data, with the object of research at PT ASI Pudiastuti. They are collacted using interview method, interviews were conducted with the Quality Control directur of PT ASI Pudiastuti. All data were then analyzed with descriptive analysis method. From the research it can be learned that business processes by PT ASI Pudjiastuti already refers to the standard importers, such as products, environmental hygiene, management companies, and labor. For environmental hygiene, there are internal environmental hygiene includes hygiene of the place of production process, and for external environmental hygiene includes the source of lobster fishing. For product, the company must pay attention in order to product not contaminated with chemicals. In labor, the employees must wear clothing that covered from head to toe. And for the management, the company has registered in ISO9002.
