• The input consists of:

– Stimulus materials for activities

– New language items

– Correct models pf language use

• Language is not an end in itself, but a means of conveying information and feeling

LANGUAGE FOCUS

• Learning objective is to enable learners to use language

• However, they also need to be provided with language knowledge
