ABSTRAK

Sinar radiasi dibidang kedokteran sangat berkembang pesat, dengan

bertambahnya peralatan medis canggih yaitu sinar-X untuk diagnostik, sehingga

sangat diperlukan pengetahuan dan keterampilan khusus untuk melindungi

keselamatan petugas dari bahaya akibat paparan dosis radiasi yang menimbulkan

perubahan profil darah pada petugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui

profil darah akibat paparan dosis radiasi yang diterima petugas radiasi di Unit

Radiologi RSUD. Dr. Pirngadi Medan.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan Januari

2017

–

April 2017. Populasi adalah petugas radiasi di Unit Radiologi RSUD. Dr.

Pirngadi Medan berjumlah 21 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel

menggunakan total populasi berjumlah 21 orang. Metode pengumpulan data

menggunakan data sekunder tahun 2016 yaitu Laporan Dosis Perseorangan dan

Hasil Pemeriksaan Kesehatan Darah Rutin.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dosis yang diterima yaitu 1,2 mSv

per tahun oleh petugas radiasi masih dalam batas yang diizinkan oleh Badan

Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir (BAPETEN) yaitu <20 mSv per tahun. Dosis radiasi

yang diterima pekerja radiasi menimbulkan perubahan profil darah yaitu

hemoglobin, leukosit, dan eritrosit normal pekerja radiasi berjumlah 20 orang

(95,2%) dan profil darah yaitu hemoglobin, eritrosit, dan leukosit pekerja radiasi

yang tidak normal berjumlah 1 orang (4,8%) sedangkan untuk trombosit seluruh

responden mempunyai trombosit normal berjumlah 21 orang (100%), serta

ditemukan 1 petugas radiasi mengalami Leukositosis.

Disarankan agar pihak rumah sakit harus tetap dipertahankan melakukan

pemantauan dosis radiasi setiap bulan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan minimal 1

tahun sekali bagi petugas radiasi.

ABSTRACT

The ray radiation in the field of medicine is growing very rapidly, with the

increase of the sophisticated medical equipment that is diagnostic for x-ray, so

very special knowledge and skills required to protect the safety of the workers of

the dangers resulting from exposure to a dose of radiation that cause changes in

blood profile on the workers. This research aims to know the profile of blood due

to exposure to the radiation dose received radiation at Radiological Division Dr.

Pirngadi Hospital Medan.

The method used is descriptive. The time of research is conducted January

–

April 2017. The population is 21 radiation workers at Radiological

Division Dr. Pirngadi Hospital Medan with a sampling technique by using Total

Population is 21 radiation workers. The Method of data collection by using

secondary data 2016 year such as individual dose report and the medical check

up of Routine Blood.

The results obtained that the accepted dose 1.2 mSv per year by workers of

the radiation is still within the limits allowed by the Board of Trustees of Nuclear

Power (BAPETEN), < 20 mSv per year. Radiation dose of radiation workers

received raises blood profile changes that is hemoglobin, leukocytes, and

erythrocytes of normal radiation workers amounted to 20 people (95,2%) and

blood profile that is hemoglobin, erythrocytes, and leukocytes, abnormal

radiation workers is 1 people (4.8%) while for platelets whole respondents have

normal platelet is 21 people (100%), as well as radiation experienced workers

found 1 Leukositosis.

Suggested that the hospital retains radiation dose monitoring every month

and the medical check up of Routine Blood at least once a year for workers of the

radiation.
