The Simplification and the Reformulation of Unggah-Ungguh Javanese

ABSTRACT.
For the beginning, the principle of unggah- ungguh in Javanese language is very complicated. Those principles have sixth major stratification which is divided into twelve function stratification. In the development it is turn into simplifications. At this modern era, in the pragmatic functional unggah-ungguh in Javanese language only divided into Jawa ngoko and Krama. Basa Jawa ngoko are devided into ngoko lugu and alus. Basa jawa Krama is also divided into Krama lugu and alus.
The simplification of Unggah- ungguh in Javanese language stratification can be formulated (1) For Basa Jawa ngoko lugu and krama lugu can be formulated as P1 ≥
P2 ≥p3 and (2) For Basa Jawa ngoko alus and krama alus can be formulated as P1 ≤
P2 ≤ p3.Unggah-ungguh Javanese language reflect cultural multifarious internally
(multiculrural) like hyphothesis Saphir-Whorf that coherent culture at its Ianguage. As for multicultural in unggah-ungguh Javanese language for example etiquette of behavior, etiquette of language use, respecting others, esteeming others of pursuant to degree, rank, and occupation.
