Implementasi Self Embedding Watermarking Untuk Pengamanan Citra Digital

Abstract

Ease of communication due to the development of information technology and the Internet, must be accompanied by the development of information security. One of the things that are important in the delivery of digital image, for information on the Internet, is how to know that a digital image has changed from the original image. Self-embedding is a branch of watermarking. Self-embedding means insert duplicate a digital image, into the digital image itself. Self-embedding can be used to detect changes in a digital image. Duplicates of digital image was created, by selecting the MSB 2 bits, using the method of selective Bitplane, then inserted in the LSB digital image itself. In this study generated a self-embedding applications, which can detect changes in the digital image. The results show that the self-embedding technique and selective Bitplane can be used to secure a 24-bit color digital image.

Abstrak

Kemudahan berkomunikasi karena perkembangan teknologi informasi dan Internet, harus diiringi

dengan perkembangan pengamanan informasi. Salah satu aspek pengiriman citra digital, sebagai

informasi pada jaringan internet, adalah bagaimana mengetahui bahwa suatu citra digital telah mengalami

perubahan dari citra aslinya. Teknik self-embedding merupakan cabang dari watermarking. Self

-embedding berarti menyisipkan duplikat sebuah citra digital, ke dalam citra digital itu sendiri. Self

-embedding dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi perubahan pada suatu citra digital. Duplikat dari citra

digital tersebut dibuat, dengan memilih 2 bit MSB, menggunakan metode selective bitplane, kemudian

disisipkan pada LSB citra digital itu sendiri. Pada penelitian ini dihasilkan sebuah aplikasi self

-embedding, yang dapat mendeteksi perubahan pada citra digital. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa

teknik self-embedding dan selective bitplane dapat digunakan untuk mengamankan suatu citra digital 24

bit warna.
