iv ABSTRACT
This study is about the importance of making brochure of Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu. The purposes of this final report are to find outwhether brochure of Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu important or not, to find out how to design brochure of Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu and also to find out whether there is significant difference in terms of tourist satisfaction before and after the availability of brochure in Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu or not. The location of taking this brochure is Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu. To find out the significant diference, the writer conducted paired sample T test to see the diference in terms of tourist satisafactions before and after the availability of the brochure of “Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu”. The finding showed that t-obtain was -32.205 < t-table (df=29) -2.045 and the significance was 0.000 < α 0.05. The brochure was made by using CorelDraw software because of its advantages. The limitations in making the brochure can be handled by using qualified laptop. The type of brochure folding was tri-fold by using art paper A4 120gr. The dominant color of this brochure was green which was combined with yellow as a sign of naturalness, healthiness, eagerness, fortune, pride and authority.

First of all, the writer would like to thank Allah SWT that has given her the blessing, opportunity, and health to prepare this final report. The title of her
final report is “The Importance of Making the Brochure of Taman Wisata Alam
Punti Kayu”. This report is written to fulfill the requirement of Diploma Degree Graduation at State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. She would like to say thank you to her 1st advisor Dra. Sri Endah Kusmartini, M.Pd and 2nd Advisor Iskandar Rosyidin, S.Pd., M.Pd because without their guidance, she cannot prepare this report and thank you to PT. Indosuma Putra Citra for giving a chance to observe Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu.
She realized that this report is still far from being perfect. Therefore, comment and suggestion from all sources are welcome to make her final report becomes perfect. She hopes that this report can fulfill the requirement of Diploma Degree graduation and useful for anyone, especially students in English Department of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya.
