IV ABSTRACT
WRITING A NOVELLA ENTITLED “A REASON FOR BEING LIFE”
TO INTRODUCE TOURISM ATTRACTION IN PALEMBANG.
(Siti Sa’adatul Maryam, 2021: 45 Pages, 5 Figures, 2 Tables)
This final report is aimed to write a novella entitled A Reason for Being Life to introduce tourism attractions in Palembang. The purpose of this final report is to find out how to write a novella entitled “A reason for Being Life” to introduce tourism attractions in Palembang. This study is expected to provide some important outputs such as information about the process of writing a novella as well as a product of novella. In this final report the writer used research and development method by Sukmadinata. The writer collected the data by documentary studies and direct observation in tourist attraction as a reference for writing a novella and as to get information. The result shows the novella can be used as an alternative way to introduce tourism attractions in Palembang. The writer expect that the novella could be a good medium to introduce tourism attractions in Palembang

First of all, the writer would like to thank to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala who has given His greatest blessing so the writers could complete this final report. The writer also would like to express gratitude to our Prophet Muhammad Salallahu’alaihi Wassallam for warning and remembering every kindness or fault occurred. The writer would like to give big thanks to the advisors who have been helping in writing and finishing this report. This report is written to fulfill the requirement of the final report at State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya with the title “Writing A Novella Entitled “A Reason for Being Life”
To Introduce Tourism Attractions In Palembang”.
Due to the limitation in experiences, abilities and knowledge, the writer realized that there are probably many mistakes in writing this report. Therefore, suggestions and critics are welcome for improvement for future writing.
