First of all, I would like to express gratitude to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta‟ala for giving blessing, opportunity, and health so that I could finish this final report. I also would like to thank to our beloved prophet Muhammad Shalallahu „Alaihi wa Sallam for remember us every kindness. I also would like to say thank you to my advisor Dra. Sri Endah Kusmartini, M.Pd. and M. Ridhwan, S.Pd., M.Pd. in helping me to make this report. The title of the final report is “Writing a Short Story Entitled Pretty Alisha with the Information of Tourism Destinations in Palembang”. I write this report to fulfill the requirement to complete the Diploma III Degree of English Department.
I realize that this final report is still far from being perfect, that is why comments and suggestions from all sources are welcome. I hope that this final report can be useful and give more information about writing a short story with the information of tourism destinations in Palembang.

WRITING A SHORT STORY ENTITLED PRETTY ALISHA WITH THE INFORMATION OF TOURISM DESTINATIONS IN PALEMBANG
The purpose of this study is to know the steps of writing a short story entitled
“Pretty Alisha” with the information of tourism destinations in Palembang. This study is expected to provide some information about the steps of writing short story. The problem is how to write a short story entitled Pretty Alisha with the information of tourism destinations in Palembang. In this final report, the writer used the research and development method by Sukmadinata (2017). The writer used Hasanah (2019) to write a short story. The writer collected the data by using literature review and field survey. The writer wrote the short story and then given to experts. The result shows the short story can be used to introduce tourism destinations in Palembang. The writer expects the future researcher to use product testing and dissemination to make the product more developed, can be more creative in introducing tourism destinations in Palembang, and further researchers who want to write fiction stories such as short stories, the writer suggests to read a lot of fiction stories before making a short story.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah penulisan cerpen berjudul “Pretty Alisha” dengan informasi destinasi pariwisata di Palembang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan beberapa informasi tentang langkah-langkah menulis cerpen. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana menulis cerpen berjudul Pretty Alisha dengan informasi destinasi pariwisata di Palembang. Dalam laporan tugas akhir ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan oleh Sukmadinata (2017). Penulis menggunakan Hasanah (2019) untuk menulis cerpen. Penulis mengumpulkan data dengan menggunakan studi pustaka dan survei lapangan. Penulis menulis cerpen kemudian diberikan kepada ahlinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan cerpen dapat digunakan untuk memperkenalkan destinasi pariwisata di Palembang. Penulis mengharapkan peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan pengujian dan diseminasi produk agar produk lebih berkembang, dapat lebih kreatif dalam memperkenalkan destinasi wisata di Palembang, dan peneliti selanjutnya yang ingin menulis cerita fiksi seperti cerpen, penulis menyarankan untuk membaca banyak cerita fiksi sebelum membuat cerita pendek.
