First of all, the writer would like to perform the gratitude to Allah SWT
for the outstanding mercy given to the writers so that the writers could finish this
final report. The writer also would like to express the warmest gratitude to our
prophet Muhammad SAW for remembering us every kindness or fault created.
The aim in writing this report is to fulfill the requirement of final report at English Department of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic which entitled “DESIGNING GUIDING VOICES IN TOURISM BLOG TO PROMOTE PALEMBANG TOURISM OBJECTS”.
The writer would also like to thank all people who had helped and
supported in the writing of this final report. The writer realizes that this final
report is still far from being perfect because of the limitation of sources, time or

This research aims to produce a product of “Guiding Voices in Tourism Blog”. The purpose of writing this final report is to promote tourism objects in Palembang by tourism blog with guiding voices. The problem is how to design guiding voices in tourism blog to promote Palembang’s tourism objects. This report used Research and Development (R&D) method. This method is developed by Marrelli, Tondora, and Hoge. The writer collected the data by using triangulation include observation, interview, and documentation. The writer got the validation from three experts, they are validation of guiding voices script, validation of guiding voices, and validation of design of tourism blog with guiding voices. The result shows the guiding voices in tourism blog can be used as an alternative way to promote Palembang’s tourism objects. The writer expects, the society can be participate in promoting tourism in Palembang. The students of hospitality industry also should be more creative and innovative in supporting the tourism.
