Naturally, Insulin is released by cells group within the pancreas known as `islet cells´. The pancreas is an organ that sits behind the stomach and has many functions in addition to Insulin fabrication. The pancreas also makes digestive enzymes and other hormones. Carbohydrates are ingested from the bowels into the blood after a meal. After that, Insulin is released by the pancreas in reaction to this detected boost in blood sugar.
