DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 195/MPP/Kep/6/2001 DATED JUNE 12, 2001
OFFICIAL MEASURING SEALS FOR 2002 THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE, Considering :
a. that in order to check and re-inspect Measuring, Calibrating and Weighing Instruments and Their Complements (UTTP) in 2002, it necessary to stipulate official seals for 2002;
b. that in relation thereto, it is necessary to issue a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade. In view of :
1. Law No. 2/1981 on legal meteorology (Statute Book of 1981 No. 11, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3193);
2. Government Regulation No. 26/1983 on tariffs of measuring costs (Statute Book of 1983 No. 35, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3257) as already amended by Government Regulation No. 16/1986 (Statute Book of 1986 No. 22, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3329);
3. Government Regulation No. 2/1985 on the obligation to and exemption from measurement and/or re-measurement as well as requirements for measuring, calibrating and weighing instruments and their complements (Statute Book of 1985 No. 4, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3283)
4. Presidential Decree No. 46/1979 on the obligation to measure and re-inspect gas meters;
5. Presidential Decree No. 234/M/2000 on the establishment of the cabinet for the 1999-2004 period;
6. Presidential Decree No. 165/2000 on the status, tasks, functions, authority, organizational structures and working arrangements of ministries as already amended by Presidential Decree No. 172/2000;
7. Presidential Decree No. 17/2000 on the realization of the state budget of revenue and expenditure;
8. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 61/MPP/Kep/2/1998 on the implementation of meteorological affairs as already amended by the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 251/MPP/Kep/6/1999;
9. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 86/MPP/Kep/3/2001 on the organization and working arrangement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
DECIDES : To stipulate :
THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON OFFICIAL MEASURING SEALS FOR 2002.
Article 1
Official measuring seals for 2002 shall consist of legitimate, null, guaranty, regional and entitled officer seals.
Article 2
(1) Legitimate or null seals shall be put or installed at Measuring, Calibrating, Weighing Instruments and Their Complements (UTTP) or written certificates in the form of cover or label or other forms, upon the measurement or re-inspection.
Article 3
(1) Legitimate seals shall be in the form of a pentagon containing Arabic figure 02 in 3 (three) sizes, with distances between angle points and sides in front of the angles respectively 6 mm, 4 mm and 2 mm.
(2) The legitimate seals as meant in paragraph (1) shall be put and/or installed as from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002.
(3) The legitimate seals as meant in paragraph (1) shall be valid as from the date of putting and/or installation to:
a. the moment the measuring instruments of the glass break or fracture or damage; b. November 30, 2012 for one- and three-phase kWh meters;
c. November 30, 2008 for floating and fixed measuring tanks; d. November 30, 2007 for low-voltage gas meters;
e. November 30, 2007 for household water meters;
f. November 30, 2004 for prover meters and measuring containers specially used for measuring prover meters;
g. November 30, 2003 for other UTP.
Article 4
Null seals shall be in the form of an equal-side triangle containing 13 (thirteen) uprightly parallel lines in one side, consisting of 3 (three) sizes, with diameters of 6 mm, 4 mm and 2 mm respectively.
Article 5
Guaranty seals shall be in the form of a round containing picture of eight-leaf lotus flower that consists of 4 (four) sizes, with diameters of 8 mm, 5 mm, 4 mm and 2 mm respectively.
Article 6
Regional seals shall be in the form of an ellipse with long and short axis of 8 mm and 6 mm, as well as long and short axis of 4 mm and 3 mm that contains Arabic figures showing codes of laboratories of the directorate or meteorology units in regions.
Article 7
Entitled officer seals shall be in the form of a round consisting of 3 (three) sizes, with diameters of 8 mm, 5 mm and 4 mm respectively and containing Latin letters that show codes of the relevant entitled officers.
Article 8
(1) The null seals as meant in Article 2 paragraph (1) of this decree shall be valid as from the date of putting and/or installation until the said UTTP are declared able to use again and are given legitimate seals.
(2) The guaranty, regional and entitled officer seals shall be valid as from the date of putting and/or installation up to the date of revocation.
Article 9
Models of the legitimate, null, guaranty, regional and entitled officer seals shall be in accordance with specimens as meant in the attachment to this decree.
The imple mentation of this decree shall be further stipulated by the Director General of Domestic Trade. Article 11
This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance, this decree shall be announced by placing it in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
